Asteria
In EO 4.2, male and female characters in Character Creation each have a set number of hair options, among other things. I'd like to modify how many hairs are selectable and for which gender. How would I go about doing this?NOTE: I have Visual Basic 2008, but no idea how to use it. If this requires editing source code, some general directions as to how to accomplish this (where I need to look, for example) would be greatly appreciated. Mohenjo Daro
You have to use VB6, VS won't work since the languages aren't compatible, I'll PM you a link of VB6 :)
Joyce
I do believe this is done within the class files, and the provided class editor should help you with this. But in any case, if you do end up wanting to modify the source code, VS2008 is not compatible with VB6. NoOne
Joyce is correct it should be in the Server side folder –>in the data folder -->and towards the bottom there should be a notepad file called Classes. Here you can add extra graphics for hair, eyes and etc to be chosen from with the class editor. But now to add more slots like a whole new body part that is not already provided in the files you will probably have to code the slot in like Baron said. This may not all be 100% accurate but I do hope it helps you find the way easier......
