Robert Buice
Title asks it all. I searched and it yielded nothing. Just curious, because whenever I save as .jpg, the quality gets destroyed.

Likestodraw
.bmp ; the primary filetype for paint. I suggest you use GIMP or Paint.NET to do most of your graphics/graphics conversion. GIMP's website is http://www.gimp.org/ and Paint.NET's website is http://www.getpaint.net/ .
Robert Buice
Apparently it doesn't. I replaced my .jpg mainmenu GUI file with the same picture in .bmp form, and it doesn't read it. Whenever I activate my client, it says an interface file is missing.I'm using Paint.NET, but it still slaughters any .jpg's I've got.
Robin
.BMP for everything _except_ the GUI. GUI is in JPG.
Robert Buice
Is there any way I can save it without degrading image quality? I'm using Paint.NET, and I set the quality to 100 whenever I save to .jpg, but it still has issues.
Robin
I have no idea. I use Photoshop and never had a problem with compression artefacts.
