ZoSo
There is no such thing as a sprite making program. If your doing pixel-art it really doesnt matter..Its mostly what userface you're used too, some use Paint some use Gimp or Photoshop. But since all you will be doing is placing pixels, even the most simple graphical programs have that feature. Allthrough programs like photoshop has nice zooming feature, and layers and tools to test animations. But yeah… i use photoshop myself, because i used it in the beginning and im used to it. Gimp is probably just as good, paint.net is more simple.. but yeah, probably just as good for simple pixel art.Not Adobe Illustrator, that i NOT for pixel-art. Its for illustrations. Annahstas
I use paint.net to Photoshop, I like Photoshop's burn tool to make shadowing easier for me as well as the dodge tool the makes lighting easier. Paint.net is simple but you got to do a lot more time in making the things you need.

SolBadguy
Please do not revive the old topics, you have up alot of answers, if you use ES i suggest to use EO cuz it's better, just rearrange the sprite frames,in ES you have some sprite examples.
