Map Maker

i wanted them to be 200x200 because i don't like to have loads of maps, best of all would be if you could have it like in tibia with just 1 big map but still have smaller maps for inside of buildings and such. i'm new to EO so i don't know what would work the best.
The reason i don't like the in-game map editor is i have to run around with a character to do different parts of map. i'd prefer if i could quickly move around maps and zoom out to see how the maps look as a whole.

well for that (i could be wrong) but you'd either have to convert EO to directx8 and add in a zoom function OR convert it from 2d to DirectDraw3D so you could zoom in and out of the rendered image.

And vb.net 2010 is a different language to vb6\. anything you make in vb6 will NOT work in 2010.

It's still visual basic, but shitter.

@AlexKuttner:

> Also, whats the diffrence between "VISUAL STUDIO 2010 ULTIMATE" an "VB 6" ? I'm thinking about learning VB6 but i can't seem to find where to get it, can just find visual studio ultimate

VB6 allows a person to program in Visual Basic while Visual Studio 2010 deals with VB.NET. Visual Basic 6 as a program is not longer being produced and the only way to get it legally is off of eBay.

I'm not sure if [Tiled Map Editor](http://www.mapeditor.org/) works with Eclipse. I have a feeling it won't.

There's nothing to fix really - working in any map editor will envolve you having to move a camera around. If it really bugs you maybe a [custom version](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/board,317.0.html) has made an edit to the map editor (I haven't been keeping up with Eclipse stuff so I wouldn't know).

Is there's no way to make it fullscreen or something like that so i have a larger workarea and would have to move less? :)

Edit: Also decided to make maps smaller (50x50)

Edit 2: Tried Tiled map editor before posting and it did not work, too bad :(

And, if you want to move about faster, Admin's can use shift+click to move to any tile. Much quicker.

Hope this helps,
