Some months ago i asked what gpu should i buy to run skyrim. Now i will buy the gpu, a psu and RAM.
this is how its going to end:
Motherboard: ASRock H61M/U3S3
PSU: Corsair Builder Series 600-Watt ATX
GPU: XFX Radeon HD 6870 - 900 MHz Core - 1 GB DDR5
Proccesor: Intel Core I5 2300
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 2-pack/4-pack(i dont know what will i buy) 4GB DDR3 DIMM
HDD: 1 TB i dont know the manufacturer and im not at home

This setup is going to run ok? im afraid i buy something that is not compatible with the rest or something like that.

Thanks for reading.

I think he was asking if the PC itself would run fine. He hasn't actually bought the parts yet.

As long as your motherboard has a PCI-e x16 slot, you should be fine.

Your PSU will most likely need PCI-e 6-pin or 8-pin plugs.

As long as the i5 is LGA 1155 it should be fine.

Thanks,

The i5 is alredy on my computer, the new thing would be the PSU, GPU and the memory. In the AMD webpage it says that the CX600 supports the Radeon hd 6870 so i guess all will run fine. just want to make sure since this is going to be the first computer i build.
Thanks

Modification: The motherboard has a PCI Express 2.0 x16
