  1. I'm interested. I just don't know what a fair price to offer is?
  2. @Becky: > I understand why, read some of the people/requests being made. I can understand why he got discouraged. And yeah I'm a bit miffed that a game that I've been working on now won't have original music but people like "Tahnner" will. Idk, I guess I can see both sides :/ Ironically I think I asked for the same piece both times.
  3. Sadly this only makes me lose respect for you. This is the second time I made a request was told it would be done, but never got it.

    @Kusy: > I was not implying you don't think, only that you should consider it from the player's perspective. What fascinates me is that people don't look for so called inspiration and simply start doing something out of the blue. Look at UIs of sucessfull MMOs, utilize things you could use. **Player's perspective is always the most important one.** This gets forgotten quite a bit, not just in games.

    Dubstep =)

    @Kusy: > Metal! La la la la la! Ironically I used metal and it's sub genres to explain how Electronica as a whole is a bloated mess made up of people so busy being /unique/ they don't realize they're just another part of a group like every other genre. lol

    I'm glad I'm not the only one who mistook it for a gradient.

    Dubstep =)

    @Jungle: > I hate genres. There are so many types of Dubstep out there that you can't say "I love Dubstep" or that you hate it. Skrillex is 99% different than iBenji, which is 99% different than Borgore. > > Dubstep, by definition, uses 2 step beats, usually a kick and a snare, and uses an LFO modulated bassline. If you take that description, you could tie it onto a lot of other genres. Some dubstep is quite and is meant for relaxing, while other, more popular types are used for mosh-pit dancing and hence wasnt meant be listened to casually with your iPod. > > The dubstep you are all talking about is called Brostep. It focuses on the drop and is used for raves and night clubs. It tends to be way more harsh than the original music within the Dubstep genre. I listen to Brostep to get pumped up before I work out, but thats pretty much it. Otherwise, I cant have it on for too long before it gives me a headache. The reason for this music isnt for casual listening, so don't complain that it's "annoying" or "tone-deaf" because it accomplishes it's job on the dancefloor. > > The dubstep Azure is most-likely talking about is ambient dubstep, otherwise called melodic dubstep. This type of music is NOT meant for dance floors, but rather for casual listening. It is the original type of dubstep. It usually accompanies another instrument playing in a background, and doesn't use Saw synthesizer waves, unlike Brostep. I listen to this type all of the time. The bass tends to be in the background, and usually tends to take up extremely low frequencies. > > I wrote this on my iPhone. Ill go back and spell check later. Jungle, if it has the word /dubstep/ in it it's fucking dubstep. Don't give me your over saturated /I'm a wanna be music producer/ opinion. As Anna said people like you are the reason we can't just discuss music. You always have to insist how /we're not talking about the right sub genre/ or babel on about how our taste of music isn't as good at yours because some of us don't discriminate against a song just for being mainstream.

    @Admiral: > Dubstep gives me a headache; how could people invent such horrible, tuneless mess :O There's been a whole two dubstep songs I've heard that I enjoyed… so I actually agree with this.

    Oh yes lets discuss something that's only a matter of preference. Secondly how is this a discussion? You're just telling people to listen to something because you like it.

  16. @Kusy: > There's only one game I would be more excited than about this would be Star Wars: Battlefront 3. > And I myself like what LucasArts are doing. I like almoast everything SW related, I would never want them to stop milking that franchise… SHUT THE DUCK UP AND TAKE MY MONEY LUCAS! I give him that. He's managed to keep the franchise running for longer than nearly every other multimedia franchise in history. If TOR is good I may shell out for it for a while.
  17. @Kusy: > I'll agree there. EA has a horrid history of marketing practices. Honestly their marketing compleatly destroyed my interest in Dragon Age and Mass Effect series. Thankfully they don't seem to be doing the same with TOR and that kind of leads me to a conclusion that it's not only EA's fault but BioWare studio at Edmonton being full of idiots. Same with development, it seems all good BioWare developers were dispatched to Texas to work on TOR while only the shittiest ones are working on next installments of their original IPs. I didn't mean my post so literally. I just don't care for EA after seeing so many bad games from them. I'm not too fond of LA either, as he's milking the same old horse. On the other hand I love star wars and always have. So I've been eagerly keeping an eye on TOR since info first started leaking. I'm not sure if it can take down WoW though, but I'd honestly like to see it happen.

  21. @renzo: > No offense to Bioware, God knows I love them, but I don't think The Old Republic or any new MMO are going to be taking WOW's seat for a long time. WOW has just been too long on the scene for any new MMO to just show up and take it's place. If Bioware can keep this going though, work out all the kinks, it could have a chance. But knowing **EA** it isn't going to get that chance. Kill it with fire!

    @Kusy: > So what is the exact reason you guys try to annoy the duck out of the kid instead of just telling him he's bad at what he did? Because half of you can't do better for shit or are on the same level maybee? Or that you just feel your incrediblye skills at everything forever are just so incredible actualy being polite to others is beyond you and would leave a stain on your honor? > > And that comes from me. Again, isn't this the pot calling the kettle black. You came to rebuke us for not being blunt with him, but you only write a paragraph insulting us. Way to be a hypocrite you troll.
