Hello forums, I downloaded Eclipse a while ago (Total Eclipse Final, I believe. The un-buggy, but old one) and it works like a dream. I only have a few problems with it so far, and most of those are my own fault. 1\. Arenas. For some reason, I can't get an Arena to work after my thirtieth map, and I'm up to about 50 now. With this in hand, I can only have one working arena. Is there any way I can get Arenas past thirty? Or some way to switch the numbers on maps? 2\. NPCs. As far as I've noticed, the NPCs don't interact with each other at all. Please, correct me if I'm wrong, because maybe I'm dumb enough I haven't figured it out yet. What I've been trying to do is get the guards of a town to battle a constant stream of enemies, like in WoW. So far…the guards have attacked _me_ while I've been setting it up. Also, NPCs only seem to have melee attacks. Again, I might have overlooked it having only had Eclipse for a few weeks, but I'd like some way to make mage or wizard NPCs. 3\. Static Map size. The standard map size for TE seems tiny. I know it's out of the question to make it one big map, but is there any way to increase the size of a particular map? Add another five rows, ect. Any way to deal with this? 4\. Static Spell system. I read about someone scripting other kinds of spells on this forum, but as far as I can tell, the only real damage spell is "Death (Sub HP)". There's no mechanic for a damage-over-time (DoT) spell, no casting time system, no trigger spells (if "x" takes damage in the next "y" seconds, do "z"), and no teleport spells (Except for admins…what I mean is simply teleporting to a city or major grind area.). Adding one or two of these would be like adding a whole new dimension to the spell system. In TE, spells are almost all alike. The AoE component is great, though. There's my (constructive) rant. If anyone knows a solution or loophole to these, do tell. Thanks.
