One thing that would be awesome to have back would be that file host that we used to have for images and stuff. That thing was amazingly convenient.

Lucy is likely dead, but they could keep her alive if they wanted to. Whoever picked them up was prepared enough to just HAPPEN to have an animus on hand, the odds that they had medical gear to some degree are also pretty good.

Bumping with the new forums, and looking for a project that needs a writer.

Frankly, I'm not expecting any of the things I want back from the old forum to "work like that". I can still express that I wish we had them though, even if I know you won't act on it.

I still want the sidebar to come back to house recent topics and the who's online list. All it would be usurping is the large green columns right now.

Actually, the banner still says Eclipse Origins because I'm assuming Robin hasn't gotten around to changing it, seeing as Marsh specifically asked him that it be changed.

I like to think of the old site as the "fallout" of forums. Many things, scrapped together and re-purposed in ways they may not have been meant for :P

Oh, and will we see a return of the bottom bar? I really loved that thing, it was great when you wanted to chat with someone and it was easier than bouncing PMs back and forth.

Sorry, I was kinda in a weird mood earlier today, and being a little more pissy than I should have. I actually see what you mean in regards to the sidebar taking up 1/4 of the screen for something only at the top. I'm not trying to say this in a sarcastic way or anything, but I'm guessing there are already plans for the side columns then? I'm in a good mood now, trying to take a fresh look at things.

I agree arcade was useless. Good to hear that the banner is gonna change, too. Still, we need more name colors I think. Easier to find specific people in the cloud of names. I don't honestly give a crap what my name color is, it's just helpful for seeing if certain people are online.

It really does feel like it's Robin's site now though, what with Origins at the top and his name on the dumb integration bar on the bottom. Feels professional but unwelcoming. I'd love to see the old forum return, I'm not sure where the problems were that we needed to go away from it. Also, this shade of green. DO NOT WANT.

I LIKED the wide variety of name colors, it made it easy to look for specific people online. Now we have a few people with colors, and a field of gray. Not better, in my eyes. Taste the rainbow!

looks great, but we're now without a LOT of the things that I liked, including the recent posts list, the side display of who's online, and the blue bar for private chat. Looks more professional, doesn't feel as inviting.

2010 kicked ass for me, and 2011 is shaping up to kick even more ass. CAN'T BREAK MY STRIDE.
