Its a new computer that has 1920x1080 but when i start the client it looks like this and its all out of wack, what can I do? I tried lowering the res but all that does is make the window bigger and doesnt solve the problem.

i think he hasn't really focused on the rest of his gui yet, mainly because he is working on the talent system. I do believe this will be a nice touch to any game, if done right.

I do like the idea of the talent tree, I hope you keep up the good work.

There is a Auction House system known, Its like a general market place where players can buy/sell eachothers items.

Hey, how could I make it so people cant just open the client itself , but they would have to open the launcher to run the game? There a way to lock the client , so it can only be opened through the launcher? Heres the updater I use lol.

So ive put many hours into recreating my gui. Tell me what you think of the design itself. including txt colors and such, The buttons are the only thing I havent done yet. - note I will be changing the placement of the content..im just wondering if yall like the art itself :)

How would I go about rendering a immage behind the gui on the bottom. Im looking to create something like diablo's interface. But I dont know how to render an image below the hotbar . Basically I want the bottom filled in like the screenshot. Ether that or make it so I can change the screen size to be a little cut down in hight and have the bottom as a gui. Im using Prospects engine pretty much so using on of the tutorials how to do so doesnt really apply . Can anyone help? please.

So I have a problem . I want a more unique GUI for the engine I'm using , prospects GUI is bland and everyone is using it. I lack the skill of photoshop to create my own , therfore I am looking for a GUI artist who could help me out with a clean GUI . Nothing big. But I would like something unique that noone has. I will be paying the person who would be interested in helping . I you need a screenshot of what it looks like now I will be able to post later . Anyone down to help ?

Thanks Guys , I figured it out . Took an older version which had rendered paperdoll and pasted its code to work with my version . :) now it's working like I wanted .

Hey, I have a custom engine from Prospect online, back when it was a running project. Is it possible to have paperdoll rendered within this engine. ( there is a "Aura" item , that renders wings from the gfx file so I know it can be done ,but would anyone be interested in helping me implement the system. I could pay a small amount aswell for your help . Heres a screeny on the engine.

So Ive been gone for a few months. I see that there is a few more custom engines and other versions of eclipse, Im glad that eclipse is expanding the language its supporting but im just rather confused here. which is a good basic engine to start off with for creating a small basic online roleplaying game? I am using prospects source( I bought from him :) ) but I would like to know where everyone else in this community stands on what they have come up with programming these custom versions. It would be nice to srart a convo about it but I just dont know whats been going on here lately .

What you guys think about this, any tips?

First off I dont mean to insult anyone or sound ignorant about my topic, I just wish to speak my mind about something. 1\. Why is there not a stable engine available to the public . Eclipse's event version is a tad outdated. 2\. What I would like to see for the public to be able to download is a version which includes the following necessary to create an Okay game. -Quest system -Skills/professions ( Leveling system for them) -All The Features/Edits that we see in some of the rather good custom engines. 3\. Why is it that some people in this community have an awesome engine with these features but keep it to themselves for their game rather than release a engine to this community that has them included, so we can better the community and people will have a want to learn how to program. Yes people are lazy but we shouldnt keep them from the awesome projects people have created, at least to an extent. I dont see anything about a skill system in the tutorials and such , but yet I see the system in 2 games and 1 engine that is unavailable . Im not trying to say people should release their work , but rather help others try to understand how they coded the systems in place , so as a community we evolve. Thanks for reading , I would like to start a discussion about this , but like I said . Sorry if I am sounding ignorant about my own topic, Its just what I see.
