  2. You sir, are spending too much time on your sprites. Anyway, he does look like he is eating something, his cheeks are pillowshaded. Try different tutorials, about shading etc. Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post.
  3. Depending on the shape, amount of light, colours used, it differs. People recommend tutorials due to they help you understand the concept better. You don't have to follow what's in it just learn the techniques. Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post. Too slow.

    Few Basic GFXs

It does have not too bad shading, but look up this on how to do it even better. http://kitted.deviantart.com/art/DITHERING-TUTORIAL-Basics-69747353 You sprite does look a bit weird IMO.

No, 1 pixel black outlines are sometimes fine, try one with and without. I'm talking about the shading causes the black outline to be more than 1 pixel thick.

Use some shading other than black. Try to go from a darkish brown to a brown tint for the trunks. Invest in the time of putting more detail into those trees such as leaves, branches etc. It's much more easy on the eyes, and effort if the light source comes from the top left. Remember there is a dark, medium and light shade basically. Also, your stuff isn't realistic. Fences aren't really rectangular, they're a bit wonky an bent. Try finding some palettes by asking around, I can't really help that much there.

Go create an app-hating thread other places.
  11. @ Admiral, you seem to have a wide monitor.
  12. Okay, so what I would like is 3-4 sprites suiting to [slym's tileset](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,44733.0.html). Must be free and can be used without paying. E.g. RMXP is not allowed.
  13. Mine only supports OpenGL 1.1\. And that's included with winXP. You need 1.4 to run minecraft. Jungle, I reckon yours could, update drivers.
  14. You get lag due to in night time, there is an extra layer added to give the illusion of night. You could source edit, but disabling time is the easiest.
  15. You guys both seem to have high clock speed, high ram and good graohics. As opposed to me. 1.2Ghz Pentium 4 Processor, 2GB RAM, 32MB Matrox Millenium G450 Dual Head. Not bad for a ten year old computer though.
  16. Yeah, flash tries to slow down if there is too much effort, but if there is wayyy too much effort, it asks to crash the script.
  17. I accidentally my flash plugin at 1000000.
  18. Details of Computer Kreator?
  19. ~~I don't like quote editing.~~ I like modifying my posts.
  20. Just wanted to see how high people got without lag. You need to refresh if you want to decrease number of snow particles. http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/83f27d6f222afc3e85db78acf05c879e.swf I got 20\. At 50 things move slower for me.
  21. Looked up at moon, partial eclipse, went back inside.
