  1. Turns out that I need a new logicboard, which would run me $700\. So I'm just going to tear it apart and use the parts for… something :) Any advice on how to rescue a DVD from my busted computer?
  2. I have a MacBook Pro (2007 Model, runnign 10.4.11) that was running 100% okay, until yesterday morning when I turned it off as I ran out the door and arrived home to a MacBook that will not turn on. All it does is turn on the little light "Sleep Light" I think, on the thing you press to release the latch. If you hold it up to your ear, the optical drive makes a dull whirring noise. There IS a DVD in there, so it could be an issue with that, I have tried the cardboard in the drive trick, but that doesn't mean I didn't do it wrong. Anyway, I have tried all of the "basic thing", everything that they are able to do at the Apple store, reset the PRAM, I check all of the cables on the inside (Which is why my laptop isn't currently being fix - appearently I voided the warrenty and they want $1200 to fix) Anyway, I would REALLY appreciate if someone was able to help me out I don't know if anyone here is a Mac expert, but I thought this might be a good place to start looking :) -Thank you in advance!
  3. That would be Amaranth by Nightwish –----- So now one hand holds a bottle The other cradles a.44 Two more shots and it's over He just couldn't take no more Clue: You might recognize it from a popular video game on Kongregate
  4. HOW DOES THAT EVEN WORK? I see how it works. Blizzard is doing the best they can to force you to buy all of the expansion packs. Nice work, Blizzard, destroying the lives of otherwise innocent children -_-
  5. Nevermind - I found it after a while of looking: > Internal 80GB HDD for storing your games, music, and photos > Built-in Blu-ray player > Cell Broadband Engine advanced microprocessor > Dual Shock 3 wireless controller > High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) out for 1080p resolution > Internet ready with built-in wireless network connectivity (Wi-Fi) > Two USB ports > Free access to the PLAYSTATION Network, including online gaming, the PLAYSTATION Store and much more I think the last one is kind of funny :)
  6. I'm considering buying a (used) "basic" (The newest 80 GB model) and no matter where I look I can't figure out what it "comes with". I know it comes with a power cable, one controller, but does it include AV cables? HDMI cables? If not, would anyone know how much those cables would cost? Thanks- Luneth

    AdmiralValos I don't have a PS3 yet… only a PSP, but add me to the list :)
  8. @Teh: > Actually, if you stay on LAN, you could have no Internet at _all_ and I should still work… As Zetta Monkey says, it's probably your router if you say that your computer keeps disconnecting from wireless. > > Good luck with that! =) > Roujo I broke my router and trying to fix the internet and need the internet to work before I can fix it O_o
  9. The G in "Game" looks like it is being….. "eaten" by the reflection, if you catch my drift. This is also true for some of the other letters in "Game Development Studios"... I think that part should be rethought a bit... also, as has been mentioned the G is Siamese Twins with its own reflection :), might want to fix that, it looks a bit odd. Not to suggest that it isn't amazing, but it does you no good if I spent time praising it ;)
  10. Is it possible to run Eclipse on Mac OSX (10.4.11 - The newest version of Tiger)? I read the section on thats it possible on Linux, but I'm not sure about Mac, because Mac and Windows are more dissimilar than Linux and Windows… Also I don't think they have a "wine" for Mac.... Thanks- Luneth
  11. I think my Internet is actually the problem… :) My computer is constantly disconnecting from my wireless... oh well, the AT&T guy is coming tomorrow to fix my Internet...
  12. So I went to freemmorpgmaker.com and downloaded the version of the engine that I saw there because I haven't "Eclipsed" in a while. So I booted it up on the computer I'm hosting the game on and tried to connect on the computer directly next to me that is connected to the same network as me, only wired-ly rather than wirelessly. I tried all sorts of things in the IP on the non-host computer, 127.0.0.1, 192.168.1.100, and my real IP. None of these IP's produced a result. I have had internet troubles recently so I have reset some settings. Is there something I am missing? I am able to connect from the host computer fine, but a computer on the same LAN is unable to connect, which it used to be able to do without problem… Thanks - Luneth
  13. Press Alt+F4 to automatically win the game :) Just messin' with yah… if that wasn't obvious ^_^
  14. Hmmm… isn't there already a storage system? Well, I don't exactly know what you are specifically referring to when you say Kafra in Ragnarok... In terms of interest, if that is in fact possible, and it probably is, as lots of more complicated things are, it would most probably need source code; in which case, you're in the wrong department.
  15. So my GF and I were laying in bed about to… go to sleep.... isn't that what beds are for :)?
  16. I'm not sure if this is possible, but I wouldn't be the authority on wether or not it is possible. You would certainly have to do source code editing to make most of this work. As to 3D, to my knowledge, 3D is either impossible, or at least impractical to the point where it may as well be impossible.
  17. Hey! I found it! Thanks all :)
  18. Okay, thanks! *Hunts for checkbox*
  19. @ÅÐмiядζ: > Only admins can do it, I think. I am an Admin on my forum O_o
  20. Funny; it isn't working… I'm just getting the post to display the flash URL, with the around it…
