Well, the sprites are truly awesome sprites. Great shading, its got the whole sha-bang. I do prefer the custom sprite tho ;)

This looks amazing, best be sticking with this it looks like it'd be extremely successful. I'm leaning towards the original a tad ;)

Okay, so I got vb6 now and I'm ready to do some source edits on the game client. However, what I've been working with this whole time is just the original EE 2.7\. Not the source version. So, can I still somehow edit my client of my game. Can I just download an open-source client, edit it, then replace it with the current client? Would this be a-ok?

Some kind of bomb/grenade throwing system + Vehicles with turrets (Two ppl could be in ,one driving, one shooting). Would make cool modern warfare game.

Hey guys, so I was browsing through my data.ini and I spotted SPAttack= 0\. What does this do? I thought that it might stand for special attack? Also, below SPAttack was SPSpeed. Anyone know?

Alrighty guys, sorry to bring this back up (dont think its a necro), but I gotta question about vb6\. So, I know obviously you need the CD software, but to edit eclipse and other engine source's do you need the MSDN Library CD included in the pack?

I was thinking of a cool little game studios name for myself, and to use as a username. So I thought of like, Ace Games, Ace Gaming, then flipped it around and said… Gaming Ace! I liked it. Even tho I'm not an intense gamer and i don't ace everyone and pwn its purrty cool i thought.

Haha, ok I'm googling now [EDIT]: Whew-hey I'm glad you guys said that, I just read a comment that learning edition can't create .exe's and that the program u create/edit only runs in the editor's environment. Ok, so I'm going with pro now ;)

Ok, cool but still does the learning edition still have the compiler and required features to edit eclipse's source fully? Just asking, because there's copies of it for like 20 dollars right now

I agree, we should have a Beginner's Section on the forums with tips on getting started, tutorials on everything there is to it, examples of great games, guides for planning projects out, sadscript scripting examples, etc. This might help out a lot ;)

Hey guys, well I'm looking to buy vb6 off ebay and I need to know which edition to buy. I could buy the professional, however the learning edition is selling for very low right now. So, is the learning edition worth it? Does it still have the compiler included and stuff? Is it missing features that are required for editing eclipse source?

Yep, yep yep. Srry bud, but this is one of the easier ways to make an orpg, cuz its very beginner friendly. IF you wanna make a game, you gotta put in lots of hard work and dedication into it. You gotta want it. This is one of the best ways to start getting a feel for game development, its great. This is where I'm starting out and learning the ropes. Learn more about the engine, editting the source, how it works, etc and you can make a very good game with this ;)
