The first computer I had was an Amiga 1000 after that an Amiga 2000\. Probably unknown to you. I still have these computers and I still love to work with them. These computers supported Amiga Assembly, C++ and C too. Comparing them to Windows, these computers were powerful. Amiga supported multi-tasking, 4096 pallete graphics, Wave sound, etc. While Windows didn't even exist and DOS only supported 16 pallete colours and mono-tasking and MIDI sound. Anyway I am born in 1993 (if the age is incorrect, which is possible.). I am Dutch and I live in The Netherlands. Well I will stop talking about me and begin about C++. I started "porting" Eclipse to C++ as of now I'm just starting the Base so don't look for or ask for a release for at least a month or two(quite possibly longer) It's going to be able to do everything that EE can except less buggily and with far less errors and lag. I'll probably use OpenGL graphics so it can be cross-platform (plus have some sexy graphics features/capabilities) . Right now I don't need any help with the Development but I might need some testers later down the road. I'll get some Screenshots or something up when I can but I highly doubt anyone would think that the basic shell it is right now is exciting. @ Admins/Mods: I'm just doing this for the Benefit of Eclipse, free of Charge and I will most defeniatly release source so please don't lock this or anything or say I'm doing something against eclipse, because really this is just to help. If you want to move this to a more appropriate section, fine by me, but please don't delete or lock it. BTW: If anyone can think of a more exciting name than Eclipse: C++ I'd love to hear it, sorry I'm so uncreative.

Something like C/C++, Python, or Real Basic? What do you people think, I think if it was Real Basic would be easiest because it's Syntax is closest to VB but C++, Python or C would probably be way more flexible alas it would take more time because there aren't very many C++ programmers here, And I don't know anyone here besides me who knows Python. People have been begging for a Cross platform Eclipse for a long time so I think maybe we should give it a shot. Anyways, thoughts

It seems no matter where I look, I can't find a DS R4 card for less than 70$ which is way more than they are supposed to cost. If anyone has a good site (that's not sold out either) please let me know because I been looking for a while. What are Cyclo DS cards are they the same as R4 or are they better, I can't seem to find the difference (except stock and price)

Is it even possible to get a good one for less then $1000, I was really looking for one, and my friend said he got a $400 one from Gibson and it was a les paul but I checked and they were all about $3300 and that's not exactly what I was looking for, if anyone knows a place to get a good one for pretty cheap please share

I have been looking about the internet trying to see what Language would be the best to start developing a game. I did research on all of them and as far as I can tell its Either Python, C++, or Java. Anyone disagree or agree? Please post your opinions, I would like to know what the Programming/Gaming comunity thinks.

I installed windows XP on my laptop today, and for some reason it did not Detect my WLAN and so I do not have Wireless interenet and thus, no Internet on my Laptop I worked so hard on getting Xp to work on. So does anyone Know the fix to this It only gives me the option of Dialup or a Modem in "connect to the Internet" and it's really frustrating me…

Well, I have been doing some Writing, Lots and lots of writing. I have written half of a book in what I hope will be a series of books. I have called this Series of Books The Greatfold Chronicles they are Fantasy based stories based upon some of the many things me and my friends have come up with the First one in the series is Called: The First Skeletal Crusade which is as you may guess a book about a massive army of Skeletal Warirors attacking the kingdom of Kathara's Great capitol city of Coran. Now, these writings have inspiried me to do something wierd, be one of the first Authors ever to have a game about their books Actually Made they way _They_ Picture it. So for the Greatfold Online new kingdoms will be added in when different books are released telling about said kingdoms. And since the first one takes place in both the Realms of Toft And Kathara both realms will be released at the time of the Beta. So what do you people think, good Idea or not? I promise I will do better with my Mapping and GUI this time >.> So far as I can tell I will need a good Spriter and GFX artist, I really Suck at GFX and you dont even want to see my pathetic Snowman Sprite. I'm better at Coding, and I will wait for Source code of EE 2.6 (or better) My Best Spritework, I was thinking we could have more people like this this is the only sprite I've made so far and I forgot to make the other directions it took me 45 minutes to make that one sprite. 

I was really wondering if VB6 works under linux and Mac Operating Systems, because I was going to look into the possibility of making a version of Eclipse under these 2 OSs and if VB6 doesnt work it would mean that a whole new code type would have to be used, so I didn't want to rush in a start source-coding unless I knew it would work.
