  1. it's funny cuz I'm pretty sure their by the same people…
  2. I'm About sick of you. You brag in every fucking thread you post in and you're not that fucking smart. Example, You always tell people to do their research but you don't do enough either, @Godlord: > Allegro sucks. It's not the pwnage. If you think so then think again. OpenGL combined with some other libraries and Direct X are way better than Allegro. > > I think you stop before you begin this misery. You do not have enough experience to program an engine in C++. > > Examples:How can you make a 3D engine when you only got **some** experience? Easy answer: rip-off, copy + paste,… You just made some contradiction. > If you want to make an engine. Knowing this is a must. Sorry but you're not even close to good enough to start making some basic engine let stand the next Eclipse. > A basic shell? At the first day a good programmer should be a lot further. Again this proves that you lack a lot of required experience. > Right now I suggest to stop this. You don't know where you're getting yourself into. > 3D easier than 2D? If you got some crap 2D library supporting weird things and there's no such thing called "Easy" in C++. > > Regards, Godlord. In regard, research Allegro first, it has plugins for both DirectX and OpenGL along with lots and lots of other primary graphics controllers for almost every OS. > Who am I? > > Let me introduce myself, if you don't know me yet. I am Godlord or Stephan J.R. van Schaik. I know a lot of programming and scripting languages very well. I have several project in C, C++ and Assembly. I am probably very young for the knowledge I have, I am fourteen years old. This is because I worked with computers since I was 2 years old. The first computer I had was an Amiga 1000 after that an Amiga 2000\. Probably unknown to you. I still have these computers and I still love to work with them. These computers supported Amiga Assembly, C++ and C too. Comparing them to Windows, these computers were powerful. Amiga supported multi-tasking, 4096 pallete graphics, Wave sound, etc. While Windows didn't even exist and DOS only supported 16 pallete colours and mono-tasking and MIDI sound. Anyway I am born in 1993 (if the age is incorrect, which is possible.). I am Dutch and I live in The Netherlands. Well I will stop talking about me and begin about C++. Bullshit you've been "Working with" computers since age two, more like mashing buttons. What you really are is a coky-ass fourteen year old kid who thinks he's good with computers well I got one thing to say about that **PROVE IT** I've NEVER seen an example of your work, your retarted website is ALWAYS down, never seen a screenshot, never used one of your programs. A **professional programmer** (as you consider yourself) doesn't come to a website with a engine that could let a 4yearold make a game (no offense) they make there own, you're not as good as people think you are and we both know it. Lock this, Delete this, I don't give a shit, I shared my opinion and that's what I wanted

    Not Accepted

I'm not accepted as a Vet…. People that have been around less time than me and have done lots less are though, is this just cuz nobody likes me. I'm not that unhelpful am I?
  4. OMG…....... http://www.microsoft.com/surface/ http://surface.com this is incredible, Programming for that looks like it would be very hard, however, the videos say otherwise. All I got to say is wow, can't wait to see more of these
  5. I started "porting" Eclipse to C++ as of now I'm just starting the Base so don't look for or ask for a release for at least a month or two(quite possibly longer) It's going to be able to do everything that EE can except less buggily and with far less errors and lag. I'll probably use OpenGL graphics so it can be cross-platform (plus have some sexy graphics features/capabilities) . Right now I don't need any help with the Development but I might need some testers later down the road. I'll get some Screenshots or something up when I can but I highly doubt anyone would think that the basic shell it is right now is exciting. @ Admins/Mods: I'm just doing this for the Benefit of Eclipse, free of Charge and I will most defeniatly release source so please don't lock this or anything or say I'm doing something against eclipse, because really this is just to help. If you want to move this to a more appropriate section, fine by me, but please don't delete or lock it. BTW: If anyone can think of a more exciting name than Eclipse: C++ I'd love to hear it, sorry I'm so uncreative.
  6. Something like C/C++, Python, or Real Basic? What do you people think, I think if it was Real Basic would be easiest because it's Syntax is closest to VB but C++, Python or C would probably be way more flexible alas it would take more time because there aren't very many C++ programmers here, And I don't know anyone here besides me who knows Python. People have been begging for a Cross platform Eclipse for a long time so I think maybe we should give it a shot. Anyways, thoughts
  7. Templates I mean, I can't find one anywhere, the one posted on the main site won't load, and the one in resources topic won't load either, I need a blank PD sheet so I can add my Items in there.

  10. for example could a C/C++ client connect to a VB server? Thanks
  11. I know it's coded in Java, but I mean Graphics, how do they manage to put those graphics in there like that and not make you have to download anything? I was just thinking, and thought I'd ask my fellow Eclipsers because they would probably know, anyway, discuss.
  12. It seems no matter where I look, I can't find a DS R4 card for less than 70$ which is way more than they are supposed to cost. If anyone has a good site (that's not sold out either) please let me know because I been looking for a while. What are Cyclo DS cards are they the same as R4 or are they better, I can't seem to find the difference (except stock and price)
  13. do any of you know any good emulators for a PowerPC mac that makes it so you can run (even if crappily) Windows Programs? me and a few of My friends are really needing one lately, primarily because my friend can't test all the Programs I make (especially games) which are ussually small and have very low requirments. Please if you know of any that are Free please tell us, Wine and Qemu are known, thanks
  14. Is it even possible to get a good one for less then $1000, I was really looking for one, and my friend said he got a $400 one from Gibson and it was a les paul but I checked and they were all about $3300 and that's not exactly what I was looking for, if anyone knows a place to get a good one for pretty cheap please share
