I use Paint.net and Paint, just today i picked up Pshop so I'm still pretty amateur with that, Although i wouldnt say that I'm great with Paint.Net or Paint either. What i would say you do is practice, trial and error, you cant really be taught. A Guide may help but most the progress is going to come from you.

Ehhh you don't need photoshop, Paint is fine. The cape just pixel it on, Learn to draw. And you could get it bigger but it would be pixely as its only as big as you see it there.

In the Itemeditor select "Spell" and then assign the number of the spell you want to that item, then put the item in-game somehow, a spawn or a drop would be good. Then when you right click the item in your inventory it should add the spell to your Spellbook.

You need to create a way which a player can obtain the spell, IE: An Item that teaches it. Then it will appear in your spellbook for use.

I have a list of a few things that I would like to see in the upcoming version: -Attribute Layers (I Believe it's already Included) -8 Point movement -More Sprite Animation Frames -Definable sprite sizes(I Believe it's already Included) -An Animated Map Overlay (Like RPGMaker) -Looped Item Frames(To allow item animation) -Ranged Npc's (A must in my opinion) -Definable Ranged Projectile Speeds -Lv. Req on Items -Visual Party/Group System -Ranged Spells -Spells that act like projectiles(Would be nice as a default, Instead of having to script) -Modifiable Speed for Characters/Npc's(Like movement speed) I got more but i think that will do.

You can write them on notepad and then add to the necessary location in your game. Any word processor should work fine. Notepad is probably the most widely used.

The sprites and that will still work yes, but only a portion of them will show up depending on the sprite size you have selected. But coming in v3 there is no limit to sprite sizes and I believe that each sprite can have a different defined size.

Did you try enabling scripting in your ini's?
