  9. Make the torso move a little when one arm moves forward, make the corresponding shoulder and half of the torso a little bit bigger, when one arm moves backward make the corresponding shoulder and half of the torso a little bit smaller, as if the entire torso was turning.

  11. I did a tutorial on how to do 3D text in photoshop, I posted it in the tutorials section… I'll try to make more graphic tutorials soon. By tomorrow I'll try to post something that could help you create your own signatures...
  12. @ÅÐмiядζ: > I read one of his other posts, he said after downloading it, all he sees is abunch of folders and documents (which is what he's suppose to see). > > I sure hope he comes back and reads my post above, I hope I explained it better for him lol, he was probably expecting something more interactive or something… yeah hope he comes back, if he doesn't there's still the possibility of sending him a pm, he might see the e-mail notification.
  13. Its weird that you can't download, is it that your computer doesn't allow you to do this, or is it more due to the fact that you don't find where to download it? It can allso be the antivirus you're using, from time to time, and according to the settings you have, they can mess up downloads that shouldn't be messed up xD.
  14. Hey there, well this is a quick tutorial I decided to make to help you create 3D text with photoshop. This tutorial is rather simple, and the text I did is not very detailed, as I wanted to focus only on the 3D effect. But I'm pretty sure you'll be able to come up with your own, stylish and eye-catching text effects using this technique. Well on to the tutorial then. First open a new file in photoshop, the size doesn't really matter as long as your text fits there. Once you've done that, use the Text tool to write whatever you want your text to say. Mine will say "Edache" xDD. ![](http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/3922/81918009.png) Once you're happy with your text rasterize that layer, or simplify it in case you only have photoshop elements (like me *cry*) xDD; in order to be able to edit it freely. Now on the layers palette select the text layer and click the "lock transparent pixels" button. What this does, is basically just blocks everything that is empty on that layer, which with this example would mean that only the text would be affected by any change I tried to do on that layer. ![](http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/5825/72023703.png) So we create a black to white gradient and only the text will be affected. ![](http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/8098/61539915.png) ![](http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/8923/71838830.png) After that is done, go to image>transform>perspective ![](http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/6462/96989971.png) And edit the image like this ![](http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/3921/82528248.png) Press enter, or click on the check mark once you're happy with your result. ((you can use skew or distort to create different effects too)). And after that, click on the move tool (that black arrow with a cross at its side) and holding down alt press the up arrow key a couple of times (you can hold it down to if you want…). What this does is create a coppy of the previous layer and moves it up one pixel, after doing this 15 times I was happy with how mine looked and stopped pressing the arrow key. ![](http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/1795/35144258.png) Give an overlay to the layer on top to make in stand out from the rest… ![](http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/3552/56269150.png) And your 3D text is finished! You can add more effects or modify some of the steps of this tutorial to achieve better results. ![](http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/7972/28716860.png) Hope you find this useful! P.S. I know this tutorial could be improved, I'm in a rush right now so I did it kinda fast and careless, I'll come back later to edit it a bit…
  15. @[BS: > §tingRay200 link=topic=40526.msg398572#msg398572 date=1237139086] > Green and Red? @slym: > Just as bad. How about black and something or white and something. Use calm colors. I must disagree, Red and Green are complementary colors, they both help enhance each other visually; if you use them correctly, they can look really well together, but only if you use them correctly. Although I must say, that graphic could look much better, you should try giving the text a drop shadow and some reflections, that could help it look much better. All so the way the background it is cut in the upper and lower sections doesn't help…
  16. Ohhh this would be nice, I'd appreciate it if you could make some for my game…
  17. O_O/\ I'm technically Mexican, so maybe I could act as some kind of taco priest or something… =P, xDD ... or maybe not
  18. I'd like to help with this if possible xDDDD. Well I voted for something star wars style, I also say we had the flying spaghetti monster somewhere around there, or something like that. lol. Although you could just do a mash up of everything, after a massive apocalyptic event, only a few groups of futuristic societies throughout the entire space where able to survive, each has developed different abilities (something jedi like maybe) that have allowed them to continue living in such a fierce universe, as food is scarce, they are constantly in battle for the few resources they have. One of this civilizations tried to develop some kind of bacteria that would make them stronger, and give them the advantage over the rest, something went wrong, and all the inhabitants of that place turned into cannibalistic zombies that slowly have begun to infest the entire space, making surviving even harsher to those remaining… OK OK I might have just gone a little bit crazy on that one lol xDDDDDDD.
  19. Thanks for your comments :cheesy: O_O that horse in that picture looks awkward, it has a really thin neck, compare it to this one for example. http://www.historyforkids.org/learn/greeks/religion/pictures/horse.jpg and the head… well I think it looks pretty much like this one http://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-s/01/07/c8/66/roseland-horse.jpg and doesn't donkeys have long ears?? Well I know its not perfect =P but I did use a lot of horse pictures to try to make it look as similar as possible. Maybe the fact that I tried to color as if the the light was coming from the front, is what makes it look strange, or the position which I still see a little strange for some reason. Well I'm not sure... I'll try to fix it a little, possibly I'll change the position, although that would delay the animation of this a little more xD. Other than that, I've finished with the sideways animation, I've just started drawing the frontal and backward ones, I know its been taking me a while, but I've been kind of busy, personall life and doing GUI's and all, but I hope you see it finished soon
  20. Ummm I haven't played in ages, but well I was was edache, just as I'm called in here. lol Maybe I'll start playing a little again, although I'm not really sure.
  21. …Well If WoW's graphics are outdated, I wonder what Eclipse's 2D graphics are?? expired or something?? lol
  22. Pretty good dude, I like it xD
  23. I could possibly do it, but I'd appreciate if you could give more information, how do you want it? any specifications? any specific size? what exactly should I do? For example should I just do some kind of dessign you can use for it, or should it have information in it?
  24. Well, Alatar and I have been working on the EE translation to Spanish. He's been doing all the source while I've been working on stuff such as GUI in Spanish and such, and well, as it gets is near completion, I wanted to test it, so Alatar sent me all the files with the .exe source, and for some reason when I tried to start it, it froze midway through the loading prices, any ideas of what could be happening???
  25. I like the color… but the text kinda gets lost in it, you don't have to learn photoshop or GIMP to do good looking GUI's, although they can help a lot, and it saves a lot of time and work. I'd suggest you added some buttons or a panel behind the text to separate it from the background, and possibly a more stylized title. I remember the first GUI's I made long time ago... this one is pretty good compared to those ones, lol.
