Mine cant, so I'm not even going to bother. Will have to just play it on the 360, thought I'll be plenty happy with that
  9. Just curious XD I think its an epic movie, thrills me every time I see it
  10. FF 11 had pretty awesome combat for the reasons mentioned above. I loved that it FORCED you to party with people, made assembling a party and party functions much more entertaining. I miss FF 11 :(
  11. @Robin: > Just because I have my own way of handling things doesn't mean it's bad. People come on here asking for feedback all the time. None of them ever actually do anything with their game concept. So far my approach to game design has had 3 successful releases. I'd say my feedback has a much better success rate than anything else in here. > > You can dick around with game details later on. The most important part of a project is getting it off the ground. Get a release out then start fixing it from actual player feedback, not the feedback of some developers on a forum which will never actually play it. > > Bonk is obviously never going to release a game with such an overly complex system, especially as he has the programming ability of a wet possum. What he needs to do is get a project out so he can gauge his ability and change his ideas to match what he can actually accomplish. > > Game development is like riding a bike. You can lecture people all day on what they should and should not do, but they're still going to fall off the moment they sit on that bloody thing. They need to actually practise and learn from their own mistakes. True.

lol… Its not often to hear nothing but praise from Robin. Makes me want it even more

    Battlefield 3

I think I'm pretty good in choppers, though I still manage the occasional wtf? crash. What I hate is some of the antenna towers that can be invisible sometimes.

You always ruin them anyways. Its no fun after you make them start crying -_-
  15. Robin, sometimes you give terrible feedback. I think its a good idea, but you have to consider an assumed optomal healthy population size. I think there are to many positions to be filled there that sound like they'd HAVE to be filled. Shorted the main chain-of-command to a a few key options, and add some offshoot duties that can be filled once you have enough players but arent essential to keeping the whole system running. -edit- And I reall ylike that if you kill a titled player, you get their title. In theory I think it will keep thing very interesting, but hopefully you have a generally civil and somewhat decent population base. Could be trouble if everyone goes on a "I want power" kill frenzy. Need to make some reason why assuming titles like that might have drawbacks or risks, in order to make it less of an option then just to go knock off the king. and the royalties and such should get some sort of perks to make defending their title easier, though not too much easier

    Battlefield 3

I most often find myself flying the Venom (not that there are many different types of choppers), and in my eyes I see the venom as a drop off/support craft, SUPPOSED to be in the action. I usually am constantly dropping off guys around the target area's, and while waiting for more passanger respawns, I circle the area and let my gunners strafe. And considering how difficult it is to get kills with the gunner's guns, you have to stay close to even attempt to make an impact. And when we get a MCOM station armed, especially when its outside, I'll hover that bitch 10-15 feet over the area and just take the hits while my gunner/s lay down as much suppresive heat as they can to buy some time

    Skyrim

lulz to that spoiler. Honestly, I might be dissapointed if the voice acting was good XD
  20. DrNova

    Battlefield 3

XD Yeah, even with flares though its tough staying alive in choppers. there should be a set amount of flares, instead of the unlimited and foolishly slow reload time for them

That is true. He's a tough guy, I'm sure he's got some miles on him, we should all make it just fine
  22. *gasp* My control v was empty!
  23. I like a system I've seen used very rarely, where you have different types of attacking styles you can use that have different "calculations" and effects on gameplay. Often called stances. Like defensive, offensive, charging, ect. hard to implement, but makes combat seem more interactive
