  1. Maging fails against me though. 95 def and 70 mage so they splash a lot or when they try to switch to dds and get me they hit 0-0 specs 90% of the time. Plus, they have little to no armor so I constantly hit 30s-60s with my range. Maging's probably more effective against a meleer because they can freeze him. That does nothing to me cus well… I'm ranging =)

    There wouldn't be that many people on a Moparscape server anyways haha. I believe him. Did from the start. Just cus someone's rich doesn't mean they're lying. yeah it is old… i think it's funny when people call other people fakes because now-a-days any amount over 10m is green instead of yellow but they have old screen shots.... It gives me giggles =)

  4. haha, not looking to change the sprite either. That's completely custom and I have like 5 others that are custom so far >.< I'm just gonna stick with what i got haha. I might try making the tiles a bit darker once I have some more done.
  5. Well I'm actually taking the palette from the source that I saw and loved. Plus I think it looks like the right style for the game I want to make. (i.e. the same cartoony colors I guess.)
  6. ![](http://s5.tinypic.com/oghoon.jpg) ok so I'm trying out a new style that I saw and loved where it seems like the grass is really just one color and then a hell-uva lot of addons are put on top like random shrubs and the likes. I know i need to get a bigger variety of shrubs ~~and I need to do all the corners for the dirt. I'm also planning on rounding the existing corners.~~(done) But anyways, how do you like this style? Do you think it could work with some more time put into it? (this is just like 15 minutes of pixelin and then like 5 minutes of mappin)

  8. the bottom doesn't tile very well because of those 2 light patches right beside each other, and then the one on the right side makes it look like 3 right beside each other, so you can clearly see where 1 row ends and another starts. it's good that you actually gave it texture instead of just noise but i would probably put more of that little shrub in it and I would probably do 3 different shades. Idk, grass is always really hard.

    Meh. Doesn't mean anything to me. You're just like all those people that think because they have a lot of money they're not a noob >.< The way I look at it is this: Sure you have all the money you could want and can (almost) buy anything you want…But you can't use it, and I can. But still, nice accomplishment. Feel free to give me money any time you want =)

  12. Hmm, idk how good of a cliff can be done with a flat face. I would still take the same concept and make it look like chunks of rock.

    It looks like leather, not blades of grass. Probably cus you didn't actually draw blades of grass…
  14. Yeah, the sprite I used in vikings was originally 4x4 sheet and I just rearranged it to fight a 1x12 haha
  15. Mmm from what i've seen almost every cliff in major games has the same look.   16. The moon looks like it's from a completely different picture. The title being broken into two different colors and being too far apart from each other looks awkward especially cus the first word is a few pixels higher than the other word. And the "buttons" on the side, need to actually be buttons. It seems awkward to just click on a word. I agree with ballie, it needs to look like something you would click. And the background images seems like really low quality. I would find a new one
  17. Seems like that'd be a pretty huge source edit too with a ton of lines to switch up. Personally I would just open that sprite sheet in photoshop and rearrange it to fit the current sprite sheet.
  18. Box looks stupendous, the grass contrast is really high making it look like tall grass. 9/10 though =) So what are you asking about the cliff? I don't really catch that. The grass overhanging looks wonderful though!
  19. Vb6* = Visual Basic 6 It's a programming language that you write software in… Eclipse was made in it and you can edit the eclipse software with it...
  20. Start from scratch. Doesn't look like it'll take that long to recreate.
  21. It's source edits. There's 2 options 1) make it so that your game changes the resolution of the user's computer which makes it appear full screen but also looks horrendous and will kill any eye candy your game has… 2) edit the ways your game draws the map and basically make it add more tiles to what's shown on the screen.
  22. Yeah that showed up. Really nice design, better than most GUI's I've seen. Only crit from me is that the glow on the fonts seems awkward because it's the same color as the font. Maybe put an outline on the font first then put a glow? Oh and the title also seems too bright so maybe lower the opacity then outline it then put the outer glow on it. And Slym made a good point. If you match the overlays for the news and the buttons it'll flow better. I like it though. 8/10 I'd say

  24. Meh, I'd rather not see shitty work. It might get stuck in my head and make me go back to doing the shitty work. I'll just put it behind me and move on. It would be interesting to see how others progress though.
  25. Lol, ninja I would do that, but idc honestly. It's just another layer in photoshop that clutters my layer window and confuses me so i delete the layer. And yeah, slym that'd be pretty cool to look at
