I havn't used Eclipse for awhile. I don't feel like downloading 2.7 again until I know that I am going to use it. Basically, my question… Is there an option, or an easy way to controll NPC movement, for example... Make the NPC 1\. Stay Still 2.Only turn 3 Move a certant way like Left,Up, Right Down, and such and controll its move patterns instead of random. I know it can be done, but is there an easy way?

[Fail] Saving and loading the characters work and such, but it is too laggy. I may attempt this again when I become better at programming.

I havnt seen this before, I am sure it was attempted… But, anyways I am thinking about making SQL saving and loading for the latest version of EE. I am not the best vb6 programmer but I feel confident that I can do this. Would anyone here support this? Also, as I said I havnt seen it before, but maybe it has already been made?

Does anyone know how to make a spell show under the player instead of on top? I dont really know how to be too specific, but like just show the spell where the player is transparent on the sides, so it looks like it is under the player I guess.

IT is a very hard and long process, almost no one is going to do this for you, you would actilly have to hire a REAL programmer with experience in PHP and VB6 to get this done, or take the time to learn this yourself

I find computer viruses non-threating to me, I can backup my whole laptop and server to my dads external hard drive in 10 mins, and then my laptop is a Thinkpad from lenovo so it has the 10 minute restore, so if I get a really bad virus, I am back to where I was in less than 20 minutes, the server is a little harder but not by much, so if you have the right software and such, the hard drive being wiped isnt bad, as long as you get some warning, in which windows xp tells you that you have a virus and you need to install antivirus software if it is a critical virus… The worst is if it is a keylogger so that isnt as easily avoided, just backup your computer often enough

I can play small games, Half Life 2 (Ep1 & Part Ep2), Team Fortess 2, Portal, Halo. It is no game machine by any means, but the big keyboard and the mouse, (most people hate it but the little mouse in the mid of keyboard is the best) makes it easy to play halo and program what i can and stuff. Very off topic…. Here is what I know, ThinkPad R61e  (Celeron 540 1.86GHz, 1gb RAM, 80GB HDD, XP Pro) Kinda stinks but it is great for me. I dont really do anything that my laptop cant handle

I think the consept of runescape is okay, it is a free game with not too much of a story but yet alot of the quest tie together and stuff, i think it is cool. I think if you were to make a game similar to runescape, i would first, not make it browser based, although cool, it is WAY to much work. Second, the graphics stink, if you were to do this, make it full 3d and make it good, or make it 2d but then you have to make up with great features and such. I dont know if this would help to much, but in my final statement, Runescape has been made, if you wanna make a game similar then great, but don't base it off of Runescape, make it not get boring after a certant level, and make EVERYTHING FREE. :D

Hey your server is offline right now, the temp server was in the front room of our house so I am sure my father saw it on a turned it off… I wil get it back online ASAP but my parents sleep FOREVER and i am at my grandparents so it could take some time I did get the backupper working so it will be updated right after I get the server back online :D

Find out how to add homebrew to your psp or custom firmware… I had to buy a new psp because I had a firmware too high to do it and then download the wifi joystick program for it, you will find tutorials on google. Sooner or later I will connect my laptop to a tv and be on a couch with my psp XD it would be cool, I need to buy the wire though :(

I am using ym PSP wirelessly with a mod to controll my PC, I configured it so i could play Ambardia. I will fix it up later maybe make a new, I was trying to hold my webcam in place, appearntly it was slanted… the window on the left of Ambardia in the video is the webcam program showing me what I was recording, I forgot to minimize it... Nothing too special, just thought I would share ;)

I have been further searching the web for 2d engines just like eclipse, I fount one with great features, click to move, full screen, and more even skills but I dont like their community at all, as I like it here, people are nice and helpful here. So What is better for a game engine? The engine itself or its community for support? Please Help I cant decide :sad:

There was one, If you use the search button you will find it, it was good around TE time. It is hard to set up, you will need a webserver too

We need more details, okay story, but you need to continue it, you need to talk about quest, start making some maps show us it wont be crap and some people might join Just a few examples and you will get alot more help

I think you did great, there is alot of detail and stuff, if this is your first, you have a great future in front of you in mapping maybe… If you make your own game you can know that the maps will be kick@$$ and if you want to join a game you can know that you will be hired for a good one in less that five minutes Great work 10/10

yea that is what I said, I mentioned putting it in the servers data.ini I know more scripts are coming out but it would still be nice to have skills and a few more common ones of those… Also that was just a list I made up going through the script datebase, not all the script i would like to see in this new EE type thing but it would be nice
