  1. Make sure the server is sending the gender in the item packet when it updates the clients' items.
  2. The house editor was removed in 2.6, I think. If I removed it, I would removed all the code.
  3. Check out this topic: http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,50745.msg529907.html#msg529907 Make sure you register all of the DLL and OCX files found in the Client\Data folder, most preferably dx7vb.dll and COMSocketServer.dll.
  4. Oh, thought he was talking about the client. Still, he might have the DX7 object referenced (it's closed source), so register dx7vb.dll. And just for the record, without COMSocketServer being registered, this error will raise. ![](http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l80/Mellow972/comsocksrverr.jpg)

    Visual basic 6.0

@kakusas: > Hi , guys! I just downloaded a Visual basic 6 and i don't know how to change eclipse mainmenu buttons and screens. How can i do that? > > -Jey It's pretty self explanatory… just move the buttons around...
  6. @[Eclipse's: > §tingRay200 link=topic=50855.msg531546#msg531546 date=1251230261] > Kay, I'll ask him. But it's a DirectX error so just register the file 'dx7vb.dll'.
  7. @Pedro071: > al right then, I'll let it be. just hope it does not cofuse players in the future. thanks for the info. I'll have to look more into it later.
  8. @Pedro071: > One of my players (the mapper, actually) reported the client is showing my server offline, but allows to connect anyway. Any clue on what is going on or how to fix this? > > more info: this tends to happen when runin the client for a second or third time on the same day… I run the client many times daily and this happens when you idle on the login screen usually. A small bug, but totally harmless.
  9. Register msscript.ocx maunally. Here's how to do it (you can register DLLs the same way): http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,50745.msg529907.html#msg529907
  10. @¤Vålöñ¤: > YAY! I figured out what happened, I reinstalled the library files and it worked!! wooot! Because msscript.ocx wasn't registered.

    Theory

@[The: > Kreator link=topic=50746.msg529903#msg529903 date=1251018885] > Tiny rope bridge? Psch, easy. Just climb along it upside down, with your legs engulfed around the ropes! Yeah, this is easy mode. This happened to me once in Bowser's castle.
  12. @¤Vålöñ¤: > oh ok, but how do I fix that? :O Check out this example. http://www.aliensoftware.co.uk/Files/Register_an_ocx_file.asp
  13. @SleekWing: > i have the same error, i read the questions but that one doesnt have the solution for me. my friend was trying to edit a map on my game and then i cant get on the gmae because of the runtime error 75 path/file, but he can get on. help plz :( Can you post your script? SadScript is very sensitive and if it can't find the specified file, then it can crash.
  14. You didn't provide us with any details. There could be over a million reasons why they can't connect. Did you port forward?
  15. I don't recommend using 2.8 (even though it is a version increase). I'm going to be releasing a proper 2.8. As for your problem, only Aksel can tell you what he changed… but I don't recommend using 2.8 right now.
  16. This bug has been fixed in the latest version of Eclipse.
  17. This topic has been escalated to "Confirmed Bugs".
  18. @The: > you have to reinstall the msscript.ocx (or something like that) library What he said.
  19. If you've switched between normal maps to scrolling maps (or vice versa) or modified the size of a scrolling map you will need to re-create all of your maps. Right now, maps have a static size and it has to be a specific X and Y size (based on when the maps were created). If you're still having problems, make sure you delete any maps in the client-side map folder. **EDIT:** Are you saying your game screen turns black and you have to use the Task Manager to recover the picture? DirectX probably lost focus on the the game screen.
  20. The issue has been fixed and will be released in the latest version of Eclipse.
  21. @Harris: > Empty? What the hell are you talking about?
  22. Point is, it supports big maps. You should of all known that. Quit giving the guy a hard time.
