This is a source question i believe, You have to use vb6 and the engine's source to edit this. (correct me if i'm wrong. im oldschool)

you should alter it a bit, and add a replace symbols check or something like symbol1=! symbol1general=i etc etc words1=female dog etc etc that way you'll catch a lot more

yes, because white isn't green =P if you set it to white, all white will become transparent

every tileset can have it's own color i believe, just try it out and see what happens 

most of those are easy enough, mp3 will pose some problems, especially due to licensing and stuff i believe

and that's the problem, it should be the transparent color look at how the normal tilesets are done. top-left square is always a set color which is used for transparancy

top left square should be the same color (ie this will be your transparent color) it will translate that color to invisible, so in case of your desk, the top left pixel of the tileset should be that color of green (it might be possible you have a mix of color, than you have to recolor your image)

You should make a list of things you'd like to be made, That way people can actually see if they are able/willing to do it for you ^.^

true true, so many features of TE that were amazing and worked perfect… and yet people forget them (and request them later) btw as you may have guessed i made that feature =P that's why i'm kinda reminding you of it  miss the old age 

i swear by eclipse, easy, quick, bit of a memory hog sometimes though…
