  1. oh okay. wtf is that for. i could actually have ur status. also 1
  2. 1 How u became a mod at 52 posts and I didn't?
  3. Yea something like an auth server that handles login and stuff and then forwards the player to the correct IP and port of either of the game server. The only problem is I don't know how the Server is actually written. i.e how it should be received sent and stuff. Thinking of just ripping the buffer from EO. And the rest well read understand and code.
  4. Yea it works. Though 1 thing that is done in one server when switched won't show up on the other server. I will have to make a main server so that everything happens on just 1 server.
  5. I don't see the client calling any sub's at Menu load. Press F8 and see VB6 reading every code and pausing. P.s You guys type way 2 fast.
  6. True Pony lover. And will this work. That is the question. Will test it out now and give the results.
  7. Tell me the things you are gonna add. I'll check if mine is there.
  8. Oh thank you. But if I added it under txtport_change wouldn't it auto-connect the moment i type just 1 number? And sock1, winsock1, socket everything is the same. (Name of winsock control). P.S I see that you are an admin now.
  9. i didn't do much. Just add this in the client tcp's port frmmain.sock1.remoteport = frmmenu.txtport.text I just want to do it for testing it.
  10. Hey guys, I know that hosting 2 servers in a computer is possible if the port is changed. So that means that both the ports are different. So is there a way for me to connect to any one of these server manually, other than typing the port in a text box? I tried doing that but it gave me an error on Full-Compile. Thx
  11. @Scypher: > Ahbi, this can only happen if you use an older version of java or flash with that old security leak. Not to mention it usually asks if you want to trust the developer of the app before excecuting it, so even It's hidden it will not excecute unless you give it permission. > > It's possible, but only happens if you have no regard for safety. Oh right. My bad.
  12. @Scypher: > It really shouldn't matter much. (Not to mention, so long as you don't execute the file nothing happens, a Virus can not force itself to suddenly activate out of nowhere unless they're part of a Flash/Java run script, which means you're an idiot and are using a horribly outdated version.) Scypher Nicely explained. But any virus can self-execute out of nowhere. They just need to add a line to execute the file on start-up. Though I haven't seen any i think they need Java. And if it is a Java based Trojan easiest way would be to uninstall java and restart PC. The program should give error that it couldn't find Java and file location then delete. > I love it how most people here don't know what a real virus, or trojan is. Me 2\. @‭‭‭Marshy: > K, how about now? I'll test it now when I restart. EDIT:No Problem
