  1. Your graphics mildly remind me of Ultima Online, the simplicity of it is very, nostalgic. I really like it, keep up the great work!

    Num's Pixel Art

@Num: > Changed the size and shadow on the handle. > ![](http://filehost.worldlifewarfare.com/pics/f4ce63b9df21e67037631681e995b1a7.PNG) Maybe it's just me, or my crappy work monitor, or both, but it seems like it went from crisp to blurry (when comparing your first one with this). The shading is better on the handle. I still can't really focus on it, because it just looks blurry. Again though it could just be my poor eyesight.
  3. @Eckhart: > Bevel on the windows looks atrocious, texture on the wall is meh, flowers are extremely weird(not sure if that's what you're going for), why does the door have hexagons on it, that fence doesn't look like a fence. Try using wood for the fence. I was excited to see some true vector art (as it's one of my personal favourite to gawk at) and was displeased when the page loaded. The bevel tool is just so awful when used in that manner, if you intend to use it, at all, turn it down to practically nothing. However, using it in a 'vector' type of image is just a big no no anyway. Google 'Vector Art' to see what it truly is supposed to look like, because, unfortunately, this is not it.

    Num's Pixel Art

@Eckhart: > Imho, that's one of the greatest pieces of pixel art I've ever seen. Never mind Pixel Artist, this guy's a Pixel Master. My god. Anyway, sword is pretty plain, but to be honest, it's not the worst around here. You're on the right track at least, everyone has to start somewhere.
  5. @Pokemon: > is there any gui maker or a software that good for creating gui.please write :-< Like what Broojo said, Photoshop would be my pick, but then again I have been using it for 10 years. It's not the easiest program to use, especially if you've never used it before. However, for simple edits of pre-exisiting images to create your own template, it would suffice. There are pleanty of tuts online for photoshop, even for the most simplistic of how-to's. You'll basically kill three birds with one stone, you'll learn a little about Photoshop and how to use it, you'll create your very own GUI, and then you don't have to credit anyone for their probable crappy attempt at a GUI that you're using.
  6. The colors are great, I also like the font, it fits the style you're going with in terms of the mountain peak. However, I am not a fan of the clouds, as they don't seem to mesh well with the mountain and it's posterized look. I also am not a fan of the drop shadow, however that's easily fixed. I'd also smooth out the outline, but that's all just cosmetic that can be fixed in the end.
  7. @Scypher: > It happens on the front page of the forums without any signatures showing though. So I'm assuming It's either an advertisement or an injection causing it. Most likely the ad's, those are usually the culprit. Nothing Eclipse can do about it, unless they don't want to display the ad's, which they do as they likely generate some form of income. Best they could do is contact whomever is supplying the ad's and let them know. Next time your anti virus goes off, see which particular ad the page loaded with and perhaps send Marsh a PM.
  8. @Yumi-chan: > No, I look at google, and redraw them myself. > > If you want something that is 100% original, here are my other drawing: > > http://tianajrp.deviantart.com/#/d4y28cq > http://tianajrp.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=24#/d4m9ios TBQH, and I am known to be blunt, your drawings aren't that great. I don't acclaim to be a great artist myself, but those are just very rough sketches, that have nothing to them, no proportion, no detail, very bland and very shoddy. I'd focus more on promoting your music as that seems to be your bigger forte, as well as your pixel art. Once again, just saying how I see it.
  9. @Ï‚à ¹€Ï‚à ¹€: > Meh, would work better if you weren't using a logo maker.. Couldn't possibly be why he's asking for help and for someone to make them for him… lol. It's unfortunate but we live in a world where not everyone knows how to do their own design. Anyway, what is this for exactly? A game? Personal stuff? School project? Also does Club Fun have to be so awful with the colors, and does the Club Wars need to be animated? Thanks
  10. @Anosora: > I i'm not good with signatures thats why i made this request topic. I can clearly see that. I was simply suggesting that a base logo might be a better start for your signature, instead of posting pictures from other games you'd like in your signature, especially if it's representing your game.
  11. @Lumiere: > 3.Hire a graphic artist > > P.S. to make it turn based it will require a lot of coding ,if you you are not a programmer, then hire one,if you are a kid and have no money then just use what you have and don't complain. > > And try first to take a look on the official tutorials on this forum. > > Good luck ! #3 is pretty much wrong. Yes graphic artists are capable of producing GUI and all your graphical design needs, however how that relates to them automatically capable of Designing the characters/map/skills/questlog is beyond me. And when something requires a lot of code, your only option is NOT to hire someone to do it for you. That may be your method, but not for everyone else. You can also choose to LEARN the language and thus produce your own game mechanics. It's not an easy task, but if you wish to create a game, you must know the language and how it operates. Don't bother getting into it, if you're not willing to learn. There is a plethora of tutorials on here that can help you learn the basics, and once you have that down, the rest will flow. As for the rest of your questions, the forum has a great search function where you can certainly find what you seek, study them and you should do fine. Everyone can start with a great idea, but the will to learn is not what everyone seems to grasp.
  12. If your signature is for your game project, might I suggest something unique background wise. Ripping artwork from other games isn't the way to go, you'd be better off with someone who is capable of drawing (or make something up yourself) to give you a hand. Otherwise, i'd just focus on the logo for the time being. Once you have game art (if you ever plan to) you can incorporate it into your logo.
  13. @Chief: > Coming* soon. Nowhere on earth does the word 'coming' have two o's… You expect way too much from the people of this forum, I mean seriously. Spelling? FEH!
  14. Other then the mini B, looks good. I hate when people use a script font where it's so loopy that you can't read wtf it's suppose to say, gj.
  15. I like the second much better then the first, but that's just because it's actually different, and has a style to it in comparison.
  16. @Crest: > Okay, I'll do better on the next one. and idk my teacher called it vintage >_> I'm pretty sure from previous happenings we've established your teacher is a moron.
  17. Also now that I see you have named the design Metallic Vintage, you may want to do some research on what vintage actually is in terms of design.
  18. Looks pretty plain, I don't see anything that actually required some skill, sorry to say. Like Chief showed, can do the same in about 3 minutes or less. If it takes that long to pump out a logo, it's either not very unique or the person is just a super awesome and skilled artist.

    New GUI

The blue really clashes with everything else, I personally wouldn't use it, and you will find a lot of people detest it I tihnk, and beg for skin packs. It kinda reminds me of a particular chat background you could pick in FFXI (doubt anyone plays/played that one) that everyone harped on, it was just awful. It makes text very hard to read in some cases. At least if you're going to go with such a bold color, ditch the pattern or whatever the crud is on it, think of FF7's menu's, nice and smooth.
