  1. @Soul: > Would a nurse be wearing sunglasses? Obviously not. It's an Admiral hat and he uses the sunglasses to protect his eyes at sea. Never heard of a male nurse? Ask Robin about that. (; @S.J.R.: > He looks like a sailor. > > Regards, > Stephan. A sailor in an emergency room. Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post. @Jungle: > Yeah, he has the Marine hat with a cross on the front… odd. Neither of the one's guessed are it imo. > > Admiral is closest, although I see why you chose the nurse hat... Maybe it's the new mindduck? ;o
  2. So, Anthony (Admiral Refuge) and myself have had this "debate" over this smiley. Now, this isn't about the smiley itself, per say, but the hat. He believes it's an "Admiral" hat, where I see it as a "Nurse" hat. Ex of Admiral: >! ![](http://www.worldwar2-militaria.com/images/Navy_Admiral_Hat.jpg) Ex of Nurse: >! ![](http://images.halloweencostumes.com/nurse-hat.jpg) The actual smiley: ![](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/8ca87489f69e91e48938275bbfbaf998.PNG) So feel free to fill in your vote! (And please, don't vote in favor of the user.) **EDIT by admiral refuge: [click here before voting](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,72634.msg779737.html#msg779737)**
  3. @S.J.R.: > The only way to host a server at your home is by using port forwarding (unless you are directly connected to the internet and are intending to only use one machine). > > Regards, > Stephan. Adding onto this, it's not really hard to setup a router to port forward. Though each router is different, it's generally the same. (Or atleast through the 5 routers I've been through.)
  4. I'm not sure what you mean by "internet antenna", however, if your PC was connected to the modem instead of the router, you shouldn't have to port forward.
  5. @Yami: > Toshi, in all honesty I am being a female dog here ;D I don't think so. You're just frustrated because he didn't even bother overlooking a few tutorials or anything regarding the engine itself. He expected it to be done for him.
  6. If you're behind a router, you would port forward your internal IP. The 192.168- etc. I normally portforward UDP AND TCP, there's usually an option to do both. Be sure to choose a port that isn't used by most services, like 80, which should be a given. What router are you using anyways?
  7. Look dude. Cut Yami some slack. She's taking time out of her life to help you out. The least you could do is use Google. To do ANYTHING with Eclipse, you need VISUAL BASIC 6, or simply put, VB6\. Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post. > Do you have ANY skills with computers, AT ALL? Not including opening notepad, that's not a skill. > > Anyways, download Visual Basic 6, follow some of the guides to install it.. And use that to edit the source. ;) DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT ASK HER WHERE TO GET IT. That is not her job, nor is it anyone's on the forums. It's YOUR job to find out where to get it. Use Google.
  8. I agree with the above, your buttons and menu colors are way too bland, make it more colorful like your logo.
  9. If you're still confused, you can find a few graphic tutorials here. [http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,71652.0.html](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,71652.0.html)
  10. I'm pretty sure it's your external IP used by your modem/router. Usually found at: [http://www.ipchicken.com/](http://www.ipchicken.com/)
  11. @Damian666: > like we will ever have a eclipse game in need of that much connections in use xd You do realize, this engine probably won't be a clone of the original Eclipse right? It'll probably have alot more support than poor old VB6 did. Meaning side-scrolling, possibly Isometric. Remember, this is an ENGINE made in C.
  12. @Rose: > One other thing, I've decided since these control arrays aren't for everyone, I will be releasing a version of Eclipse Galaxy with, and without them. The number of people who like the improvement will determine the length of their existence. That's really generous of you actually. Most developers just release it their way, and say deal with it. Nice to know you actually care to give people additional options. Brownie points for you. :3
  13. @Rose: > Yes indeedy. Ah. Very nice then. It's odd seeing the community step up and come up with so many formats of releases for Eclipse. D: Best of luck to you on your project.
  14. Just making sure I'm understanding this correctly, you're basically upgrading and releasing EO in your own fashion?
  15. Remember though, he's not really leaving Eclipse. He's just kind of retiring as the lead programmer. So don't say farewells.
  16. I believe you meant: ![](http://gifrinth.com/vocabulary/1292136442822.jpg)
  17. @MrMiguu: > Fixed. > ``` > #include int main(void) > { > printf("You're gay."); > return 0; > } > ``` There you go. :3
  18. @Rose: > ``` > #include main() > { > printf("You're gay."); > } > ``` Your style of coding worries me. :<
  19. Picture 2: He failed by drinking the red cup that was drugged.
  20. Most of these are basic things that should already be on your computer.. But why is Ubuntu up there? Can you imagine people with 3 posts trying to to get that to work? LOL. Name: Spybot Search & Destroy
  21. @Mr.: > I hope people stop using the XP tilesets and have some creativity. Uhh, this has to do with Tile-sets how? Frosty was referring to the Rpg Maker XP Icons. (If not, then it's kind of off-topic.) Also, I remember these! These were around during the ES days too. XD
  22. Cleaned up and re-organized the entire opening post. Also added my development blog. Excuse the double post.
