  1. There sure are alot of Robins in this topic!
  2. Well, I listened to ArcAde first. I nearly killed myself. It sounded like pure noise, and the switching between L and R stereo tracks was a horrible idea. I don't even know what to say to it in terms of improvement besides scrap it. I also listened to "Grindstep", and that too, got a little more on the annoying side. It sounded like a mash-up of 8-bit and a some old PC game. Then it just got repeative. As if you made a 20 second song, and looped it. You should really listen to some other people's music, get an idea of what people actually like, then attempt to create a song. As Robin said, you're missing a taste for music.
  3. @Robin: > It looks like his arms are being twisted around. I also get the strange sensation that he's thrusting his pelvis at me. That thing has a pelvis?
  4. @NnsNightshade: > Looking great~ I hope the storyline does the current artwork some justice. Storylines are the most crucial part of a roleplaying game. Absolutely. Can't agree with you more on that subject. I actually want to have one of those warped storylines, where the past is constantly connected to something important, random things keep happening, I don't want a basic generic storyline. @NnsNightshade: > Let me know what to do whenever you have some work for me and I'll hop on it asap. Will do! I'll probably start on the actual engine (With menus and such) In a week or so.
  5. Jesus christ. That sounds awful. Reminds me of some memories of being run over by a 3 wheeler I had. Was riding it, throttle got stuck, brake line snapped. Did a wheelie and knocked me off, and somehow did a U-turn and came back. xD
  6. Removed "Other fun stuff" since it was outdated and will be revamped. New swords, and overworld sprites. Some alpha transparency added. I completely re-wiped and re-published the first post.
  7. @Anna: > How is that a spoiler? Robin's been trying to get his money back for a year now. :P Because it wasn't chalk. It was graffiti.
  8. It looks like you saved your website image in .JPEG format. :C Which is bad unless you're saving as a high quality JPEG. The layout is pretty bland and way too big and bulky. Interesting idea with the dragons though, just needs alot of work with the actual buttons and such.
  9. The only thing I can think of now is that you didn't install the library files. http://www.robin.freemmorpgmaker.com/eo_runtimes.zip
  10. @Anna: > LOL IT WAS CHALK JUST RINSE IT OFF > XD > Awesome shirt! > > Is Bob suing him for printer damages? :P SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER.
  11. If you're using Winzip (Windows default extractor I believe.) : Right click the .zip folder. On the little menu that appears, should be a "Extract all" or something saying extract. (I don't use Vista or Seven, so not sure of the details. If someone could fill him/her in on it, I'd appreciate it.) and it should extract to a new folder with the same name.
  12. @bloodless: > Hmm i tried running as admin and i got these 2 errors > ![](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/d1e2fac9c561a6efd32cbcbf4e8b6053.PNG) > ![](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/c56cfc4f03a1ea14cb2d08c4a619f8eb.PNG) It's saying you need to extract the .zip to it's own directory. Then try running the .exe. It can't run the resources to run the exe because you didn't unzip it properly.
  13. The style reminds me of the old PC games or the NES RPGs. :0
  14. @bloodless: > How do i run it in compatibility mode? > BTW i tried running it in the Windows "administer" account but it says blank password is not alloud but the admin acc has blank password -.- also, my current logged in account is admin > > EDIT : Compatibility mode didnt work, none of em worked ;( > It was working fine last night, i dont see why it isnt working now.. Sometimes you still have to enable it to run as Admin if you're running Vista or Seven. Though I can't see that giving you an error. I sometimes get the same error when playing Robin's Crystal Shire. (Running Windows XP.)
  15. I was wondering when you were going to update this with that video. inb4 pwnt. ;D
  16. Nice to see some people giving out some things.
  17. > (20:49:14 PM) Max: i just lost my leg in a lawn mower accident Happens to the best of us. :C
  18. I greatly enjoy your style! It reminds me of the old styled RPGs (Like Harvest Moon) but revamped to current Gens. I'm definitely looking forward to see how you go with this.
  19. You're asking a bunch of people who use VB6 to help you make an OS? ._.
  20. I currently use Sony Vegas 9\. Though Cyberlink was a decent free software.
  21. @Mikekan13: > because he is a conspiracy nut I smell Alex Jones.
  22. @Grizzy: > My mound edit: ![](http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/6899/grassmound.png) Alright, you're definitely on the right track. Just gotta experiment with some more colors and give your cliff more height to match your character. Though Chief already offered to help with the above.
  23. Is that.. The MSPaint "Spray" tool? ._. Anyways, your cliff reminds me of a green cake more than an actual cliff. You kind of have a weird strip going through the middle. Your character is as tall as 3 of your "cliffs". You need alot more colors in your palette, everything seems nearly the same color, and blends horribly. In short, I'd suggest raising the height of your cliff by atleast 2 times. Then making it more of a soil-brown color than a odd green. After that, change up the colors of your grass, maybe add some dirt patches to show that it's the top of a cliff. Maybe even add some more detailed ridges.
  24. I believe the topic needs a rename to "Fluoride In The USA"! :D
  25. I agree. You have to tone it down a few notches with the little flowers and stuff.
