  1. @YamYam: > It simply picks the spawnpoint of the class to return to, so to change it you either need to change the spawnpoint or edit the source to pick a different location. How would I change the spawn point? o.0 Sorry, I'm terrible at this.
  2. When you die in EO you are automatically warped to map 1 X:5, Y:5\. How would I change that to say.. map 2 X:3, Y:2? Thanks.
  3. @Shadowwulfâ„¢: > kill them I don't think you understood my question, or your answer just didn't make any sense, I mean like, when you die, and you respawn at map 1 at x:5, y:5\. I want to know how to change that to say… map 2 x:1, y:3\. Thanks in advance, if you can help me.
  4. How do I set where somebody respawns when they die?
  5. @Kreator: > Pixel by Pixel, in MS Paint. Holy **** thats even more amazing then I thought. *idolized*
  6. @Kreator: > @Im_Mad_1337: > > > Wow, that looks awesome. By far my favorite sprite/tileset artist ever. > > :D I don't mean to go off topic here but, how exactly do you make your sprites and tilesets? Do you actually draw them out? If so, that is amazing.
  7. Basically, I need ANY [EO] compatible paperdolled items that will fit this type of sprite: ![](http://img51.imageshack.us/f/88363493.png/) I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, I guess I could use a paperdoll template instead, and try that out, but whenever I try it myself, I always get pieces of the weapon cut off :( Thanks, if you can help.
  8. @Anna: > I mean "works" as in running a server that can actually handle running jumping and combat with NPCs and other players. PV is simply not stable at all. Oh ok, I see. It kinda laggs when I jump, but my computer sucks really bad, and I'm currently running a RuneScape private server that uses most of my CPU usage so, that could be my problem. But it seems to work pretty good other then that.
  9. @Anna: > So what, something like this? > > ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/annacomnena/projects/side_male_pdanim.gif) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/annacomnena/projects/side_fem_pdanim.gif) > > If you actually have a Project Vertigo release that is stable and actually works, we might be able to make some sort of concession (since I still want to get my RCR style mmo off the ground). I'll PM you my msn since I don't visit or post here regularly anymore. Sorry if I'm grave digging this post, but I was wondering what you meant when you said "If you actually have a Project Vertigo release that is stable and actually works" because, I have one on my desktop that works.
  10. I was actually going to make some 2D characters and monsters from RuneScape later on today. When I do, I'll post them here for you.
  11. Wow, that looks awesome. By far my favorite sprite/tileset artist ever.
  12. @Stephan: > Or would it really have helped you? I don't feel like fixing a problem and causing another one really helps anybody and people who don't know how to programme themselves, can't solve the new issue, so basically you're either stuck with the same amount of bugs or even more bugs. > > Regards, > Stephan. I didn't mean to say it would help me, I simply meant, that at the best of my knowledge at the time, I would have thought it was helping me.
  13. @YamYam: > Actually it would've just broken most of your game's equipment system. ;D Yea, I realize that now, but before anybody told me, I wouldn't have known.
  14. I don't think his intention was to break the source, I think he just though he was helping out, and for beginners like me, who have no idea whats going on, it would have helped (at least with my knowledge of the program)
  15. @Robin: > Then you're not looking hard enough. Yea, I know, I just found one.
  16. @YamYam: > Even if he added the edited files it'd do nothing unless compiled with VB6. Yea, I just realized that, I'ma dumbass o.0 I wish I knew where to get VB6\. I just don't feel like paying for it, and can't find any free downloads.
  17. I never asked for anybody to "sugarcoat" things, there is a difference between sugarcoating and just being nice and reasonable…
  18. That sucks XD I'm completely horrible at scripting, I can't read any of it, and I can't source edit at all. I don't even have VB6 or whatever you use for it. Edit: Replacing those files doesn't change anything at all if you don't do all the work above. I wish he would put the edited files as attachments, but if I ask, I'd feel like a total ass.
  19. @Azure: > Read my edit. Redundancy in a game menu is bad, just like writing. Well, thats your opinion I suppose, I'm not going to bash it. Everybody has their own ways of doing things.
  20. @Robin: > Eh, there's some huge cultural differences around here that people just aren't aware of. I live in Bradford in the North of England. I grew up on a council estate and went to a school where kids were riding motorcycles around the bloody hallways. > > We don't sit around politely telling someone they're doing something wrong, I fucking tell 'em to their face. I don't sugar coat my words, but I'm always 100% honest about everything I say. I can't stand it when people just say what they think the other person wants to hear. > > I've used Mirage for over half a decade now. I know it like the back of my hand. I've seen thousands of games fail because of the same problems, so if I see a game with that same problem, I'm going to tell them what's what. > > I'm sorry if you don't like my personality, but to be honest I don't really care. Actually, I appreciate the response explaining your back ground and why you are, the way you are. Everybody has their reasoning and personalities.
  21. @Azure: > One should be "sign in" and the other should be "login". Why? Its his choice to make them both login, its what he wants to do.
  22. @Ballie: > Those are the form files. To save you from having to reorganize, etc., you just download those and replace your old forms. So, if I were to download those and replace them with my old ones, then I wont need to do any of that editing?
  23. @James: > I don't think you need login on it twice and you need a better to read font …The bottom login button is to go to the login menu, the login button above that is to sign into the game
  24. Thats awesome, if only I knew how to source edit :( what are those files in the attachments for?
  25. @Helladen: > Robin has a point though… You have to do a full fix not a half-ass fix. Half-ass fixing is worse than not fixing it at all. > > The order robin has is the order they show up in the character sheet if you didn't notice? The server side wasn't fixed, same for the inventory drawing, and many other things. Yea, I understand that, and completely agree, but as I browse these forums all I see if Robin putting people's ideas down, like he's top dog or something… This isn't meant to be me being rude towards Robin, he does produce some nice work, I'm just stating something that bugs me.
