  1. I hope this is what you mean. What I did is, I went to the config and changed the IP field to my ipchicken. Now I went back and zipped my client folder (I hope that's what you meant by 'directory') and I uploaded it. Now I changed my IP filed in config back to what it was before. Try it? http://www.filefront.com/15118279/Game.zip
  2. Okay, instead of 'local', I will use the term downloadclient and for the "client" (first client), I will simply say client, just to avoid confusion. So, do you mean I copy my client, and PASTE it for a copy, then zip THAT one up? And could I just do sent to–compressed zipped folder, because otherwise I dunno how to zip a folder.
  3. It works! Thank you! You've helped a lot. And thank you to everyone else who tried to assist me! Yay. Well, before I burst with joy, I should probably get some people to test it out. And before I upload this- In my zipped Client folder that I upload, if I add a notepad document for people to read (Like some sort of read me) will that work or will it break the rest of the stuff?
  4. I dunno about being connected locally yet… I'm not exactly sure what it is. I'm not really technologically smart. :3\. When I click my internet icon in my taskbar, I don't see a local thing, I just see the network or whatever my mom set up. I use 2.7.
  5. So now, I can go to my client folder, add to->Compressed/zipped folder. If I uploaded that zipped folder right now and someone used it, it would work? o:
  6. I have two tc/ip. Which should I use? ![](http://i630.photobucket.com/albums/uu21/KonleeZero9/gurglebutt.jpg)
  7. Thank you, it helped. But.. How do I set my computer to use the 192 ip address as a static ip? And you said, "Make sure your router is not using 192.168.1.1 that address is the address of your router." Well, here is my router applicants & gaming page: ![](http://i630.photobucket.com/albums/uu21/KonleeZero9/linkies.jpg) Is this what you mean? If so, 192.168.1.1\. is pre-written, if that's the word, under IP Address. How do I make that not the IP there? If you don't mean there, where?
  8. Is it me or am I getting different answers? Lol. So I put my regular ip from ip chicken in the ip config?
  9. Also, before I upload the zipped one, can I delete the regular client or the player's so that there is only one client? I'm asking this just because people who don't use EE may be confused on what to play. ALSO In my original client folder, after uploading / making the zip, does it matter if I delete the player's client?
  10. Delete which client? How about all of the zipped folders and clients that I have, excluding the one I started out with after first downloading eclipse? Then start freshh with uploading.

I say I like it. If you're going for realistic, the constant curvy pattern on the second level is very repetitive. But for like a, Yay, fun game time, thing, I would excuse it.
  13. If I delete one, I won't have both the player's client and the regular client. But then I tried doing it in the different folders… The compressed (zipped) one and the one I use, and they are different there so I guess it works.
  14. I thinks I gots it! o: http://www.filefront.com/15011581/eJuxeau%20v1.zip Download Extract Play extracted client. Lemme know if it works.
  15. Er, I put one ip in one and the other in the other client. But after quitting, the other client has the same one. They copy eachother. :0
  16. so i put 127.0.0.1\. in ip config? [sorry, im slow.] lol.
  17. So is that what goes in my client's IP Config?
  18. Is the ip 192.168.1.xxx IP on the linksys page (Image 1) my static IP or something else? Is it what I should have in my client's IP config, because I think that's the 1 it is.
  19. o_o See, I'm not a very technologically-intelligent person. x3 Making a game may be out of my league, but yeah…. That being said, I may have to have some things broken down. lol.
  20. Okay. First of all, I **believe** I port forwarded correctly (Not completely sure). So, I'll go over my port forwarding steps, then get onto my current issue. Okay, to port forward, I found out my router model number and I followed the instructions on the port forwarding website. Eventually, I had to go to my router's page on Linksys and do this: ![](http://i630.photobucket.com/albums/uu21/KonleeZero9/ex.jpg) Then, I was like, yayayayay, and I followed a tutorial (Don't remember which but it was relevant) and I made a copy of my client and renamed it to Player's Client. ![](http://i630.photobucket.com/albums/uu21/KonleeZero9/ex2.jpg) Then I was like, yay, so port forwarding is done. Now how do I get it out to others? I read a tutorial about sending your game to other people, and it said to go to your client folder, right click, ~~add~~ send to-> compressed (zip folder). ![](http://i630.photobucket.com/albums/uu21/KonleeZero9/ex3.jpg) Then, I uploaded that file to filefront. But when someone tries to play it, the server is offline– Even though it's up and on for _me_. Help me, please!
  21. Applications and questions go to me via pm.
  22. This question is: **Unresolved** Okay, I have been told in the past (Before I had this problem) that you always open the server before the client. Well, either way, my server will be up and my client always says _server: offline_. Someone related this to port forwarding. Yes, I had just port forwarded my game (I think… I dunno for sure if I did it right.). So yeah, would port forwarding have affected the server in some way? And why is this happening // how can I get my server back online?
