yeah but you've got a lot more chance getting away with it than a "fan game" as you're not directly using their characters, ofcourse you'd have to use all your own graphics music and etc.. but you can still basically rip the story lines and general ideas of the game without them having much of a problem with it.. But i guess that in a whole takes away the whole "legend of zelda" feel from the game.. So it's not really worth it xD

Turn paperdoll on in your data.ini Meaning set Paperdoll = 1 then make sure u have paperdolled items and you should be good to go.

In your ondeath.ess Change the (Target) to (Index) I bet you that's what the problem is.

As Miroki said, Edit your main menu GUI but also, In VB6.. Under either FrmSTable or FrmMirage.. Then click on the news box and set it to be transparent in the properties. This way, Your news box will be transparent and you will have your background. You could probably also just set the new's image as yours in VB6.

I think you set in the data.ini Custom=1 If you want only the head to be changed then simply change the body/legs from Enabled = True to Enabled = False and then set them so they're not visible. That should work. Havn't looked at that or ever used it though so.. Make sure to test it before you save and keep a backup etc.

I like them, Your main menu thing, is that going to be your final main menu you use? I only ask because i'd have hoped you plan to change the layout from a standard eclipse stable one. I really like the image and i think by having the standard ES layout.. It kinda makes it less.. Attractive, atleast to me xD

Well Key makes it so that if you have the key, Standing infront of the door and double click your allocated Key item it will open that door and allow you to pass. Key open i believe will open a Key attribute or something(Not sure, never used it) At the X and Y you set when you step on the tile you just placed. You may have to have a key attribute already placed there.

Find where the create and back/close buttons are.. Roughly by clicking around. Then just make your gui in PS or paint or w.e with the buttons in the position you found them. It'd be a LOT easier to do if you could edit the source cause you can find the exact locations and stuff. xD but yeah. pretty simple i guess.

Well, it's a source edit.. IF you want to change the location of the buttons etc.. Simply the gui you're using hasn't got the right placements of buttons, like ICT said. So yeah, change the gui to look right or edit the source to be on the same button placements as your current standard gui.

You don't have to pay money. You can host it yourself, But that way… You won't have a very good website (assuming you use a free one) Same for forums.. And also you'll have to host and can't use a dedicated host etc. xD so yeah, you dont have to pay but it's for the better if you did.
