If you're new to tiling, you've done a fairly good job. They could use a little more work but I'd rate them 9/10 for your situation.

900 x 900 is the best way to go for the initial design, at least. That way when working on it in Photoshop it can be split into a grid of 9 squares. The upper three should always contain the header and perhaps upper navigation, the middle three and halfway down the bottom three is where the content and sidebar area should be, and the bottom half of the final row is the footer. When doing a two column theme with a fluid footer, header, and navigation, it also works to put the content in the left two and the sidebar in the right. I _might_ have a go at this.

Sorry I didn't really abide by your details. It's a bit bigger than you wanted and the background isn't black. If it's that big of an issue I can change it. >!  >!  Personally, I think the text part of the logo looks strange with the red, white and blue.

I'd considered doing free website requests but… Considering how Eclipse tends to work, I know at least three quarters of the websites I'd make would end up discarded. Plus, I already get paid to make websites so that idea was kind of pointless anyway.

Uh… the male and female sprites ARE identical. I'm quite certain you've drawn the female sprite, and then just cut off the bottom of the hair pixels for the male. Hell, I can even see an area on the male's back that looks like you just placed a square over where the hair should be.

In HTML, is used for comments (which in static HTML websites is also important), and in CSS /* Comment */ is used. You only put /* */ tags inside CSS.

Mmhmm it looks all right now. You corrected the spelling. Also, I'm not one to be picky over names, but "The Chronicles of the Sericous Prophecies" seems a bit redundant. If you were to shorten it, it would be the "Sericous Chronicles Prophecies". Technically prophecies are chronicled in some form. Just "The Sericous Prophecies" or "The Sericous Chronicles" seems a bit more grammatically correct to me. Then again it could just be me ;)

Okay finally managed to load it and now I have regrets. I'm sorry but did you happen to be eaten McDonalds at the time you were making this? And what in the world went through your head about the watermark? Also, when making a mock GUI, it's quite enough to simply put a dull blue where the map would normally be rather than horribly painful colours that mix together. Why do you have such enormous buttons, and then such tiny text? Finally, there is one thing that I like. You've made the "Quit" button enormous so it's easy to find. That way your players can save their eyes. Really, it isn't necessary to make it so large. Perhaps you wouldn't get so much criticism if not for the ridiculous watermark and painful background. Sorry if this sounds like flaming, but it's all true. You wanted criticism and you got it.

No, for an image sized 468 x 60, for it to be high quality it would only be able to have like one piece of basic text. If you made it a low quality JPEG you could probably manage an image and text but by then the quality would be pathetic.

You want a banner sized at 468 x 60 and no larger than 12kB? Why not just use basic text then. :huh:
