Do remember that most of your playerbase for these sort of games will consist of people with computers from the bronze age, their CPU is basically a mouse running around pushing buttons and their graphic card is a woodpecker. Not to mention that compared to VB6, .NET has a much higher learning curve because of all the unnessecary crap it has, or way it handles pushing certain variable stacks. It's awkward at best.And converting it? Be prepared to pretty much fully rewrite it. .NET and VB6 are two entirely different beasts and really work vastly different from eachother.
