VB6 Questions

1) How do i compile the damn thing  :mad:

2)How do you edit the visual of the file? Like changing where everything is.

3)When opening the server nothing happens. It shows as open, but the thing shows nothing.

4)Anything else a newbie should know?

1\. File > Make *Projectnamehere.exe*

2\. In your Project Explorer double click the form you want to edit.

3\. I have no idea what you're trying to say.

3) A little better explaination: When i open it in server.vbw in VB6, it shows nothing. It works fine on client .vbp though.

Double click what form you want to edit in that window.

3\. What do you mean it shows nothing, as in there is no forms in it at all? It's possible it all came unlinked. What version of Eclipse did you download?

3\. Correct. No forms, CS:DE, but the same thing happened with Advanced Eclipse's server, both clients work, but the servers dont.

Do you get any errors when you open up server.vbp?

Like "frmmain is missing" or anything?

Maybe you have problems with port or ip?

Nope. It just shows server.vbp on the right column, no files below it.

This is very odd, are you sure you're not opening it twice?

I've never seen such an issue.. :S

Same. If no forms are missing I'm not exactly sure what's wrong.

Do you have teamviewer Derp? I could help via that and check it out.

Ive managed to get the CS:DE one to work. Still struggling on Eclipse Advanced.

And no i dont have a teamviewer. But i think im fine now

Just a word of warning, CS:DE is completely broken and unsupported.
