  1. A bit off topic post, but how exactly do forum engines like so work? Is it hosted off of a remote server, if so then do you just sync the hostnames to the main IP? Argh, reading up on these so I can get a decent looking forum for my game when it goes public.

    Creating a server

    Welcome to the forums! Been awhile since I've done much here personally. But all I can give is my personal advice. Whether they're code changes or something alot tinier. The resource system was all scripting... still have it floating around somewhere. Should post it up with this source maybe. It would work fine with it. Ah, i await there finish. This will definitely be the system i work with.

    How would I go and include permadeath into the Eclipse Reborn engine, Im trying to recreate a game a enjoy; and this is the first step.

  17. It appears there are some lines of text that get cut off at the top. Any reason behind that?
  18. Whenever i try a new double XP code it doesnt work. It registers that its been added to my Xbox Live account. But doesnt show up in games.
  19. I love (But suck at) this game. Its very fun and obviously the best Pokemon Themed MMO. Really glad to see mods/devs/(Whatever you are since in position for posting this) are among us. Since ive been playing since september; this is really exciting. (/wins with a level 10 charmander)

Woohoo I want to help someone (Now lets watch me fail) 1)Open up the Client in VB6 2)Go to ModConstants, 3)Scroll down to general constants (About half-way) 4)Find MAX_PLAYERS 5)Change to what you want. 6)Compile 7)Repeat in the server (Open in vb6, mod_constants, general, Max_Players= x, compile) Open up the server and your done! Hope i helped.
  21. True, but through personal experiance. Already these games get falsly classified looking like the RPG maker series. I just believe a single player version wouldnt help that.
