Slasheree
I dunno if this happens to other versions ( I'm using CS:DE ), but when I shutdown the server it simply closes the client. Is there anyway to close the game and send a message saying they lost connection with the server ?
hisherwin
Find the isconnected thingy , Then find the code that open frmmain. Then add a Else on you'll do it on yourself
Slasheree
tried that, but even when I press the login it says the msg… is there any packet the server sends to the client when it's about to shutdown, or does it just close the socket ? Slasheree
managed to pull the trick by using the server DestroyServer, comented out the Unloadsocket and switched for a AlertMsg (also closes conection)
Exception
In the gameloop, there's a bit of code called InGame = IsConnected.Consider changing that in place for "If IsConencted = False Then MsgHere: InGame = False: End If" (pseudo-code.).
