RandomNoob
Hey guys, let me explain my problem,I have 4 classes in my game and this is the information on them so far…[INIT]MaxClasses=4[CLASS1]Name=GargoyleMaleSprite=1FemaleSprite=1Strength=6Endurance=6Intelligence=1Agility=2Willpower=5StartSpellCount=2StartSpell1=1StartSpell2=2[CLASS2]Name=NecromancerMaleSprite=2FemaleSprite=3Strength=6Endurance=3Intelligence=2Agility=4Willpower=5StartSpellCount=2StartSpell1=3StartSpell2=4[CLASS3]Name=AlchemistMaleSprite=4FemaleSprite=5Strength=1Endurance=2Intelligence=5Agility=5Willpower=7StartSpellCount=2StartSpell1=5StartSpell2=6[CLASS4]Name=FatecasterMaleSprite=6FemaleSprite=7Strength=1Endurance=2Intelligence=8Agility=8Willpower=1StartSpellCount=2StartSpell1=7StartSpell2=8Okay, now class 1 "Gargoyle" spells work great, however when I get on other classes, those classes will start with the correct spells, but when i go to use them the game informs me that "Only a Gargoyle can use this spell." I went back to my spells under the administrative pannel and the spells for gargoyle i have set as "class requirement - Gargoyle", necromancer spells for necromancer ect… I assume I made a mistake when I altered the class information to the information above. I am very much a noob and just do this for fun, if a pro can point my ignorance in the right direction it would be very much appreciated... thanks. RandomNoob
:/ … if that is the case, is anyone aware of any way around this issue? I can't seem to figure it out.
Zeffrit x
Make it a non-requirement. Just issue it to gargs to start with and make no way to obtaIn the spell in-game. Unless you have vb6 and think you can fix the bug yourself.
RandomNoob
hmm, well im using the Eclipse Event system 2.3 and it does not apprear to give me the option to make a non-class specific spell. Is that something unique to this version?
Zeffrit x
Make a spell, don't set class requirement?
RandomNoob
When I go to my spells under the admin pannel, even on a new spell it already has the class requirement set to my first class. I can change it to any of the other classes I have created but there is no option to not have one of the classes.

RandomNoob
Alright, so I checked the link you (Oreo) posted and no, that line of text was not incorrect in my modDatabase. I would like to add a 'none' option to my class requirments but unfortunatley don't know how nor do I have Visual Basic (I just use notepad to view the files.) Is it possible to make this change without such a program, and if it is, can somone walk an idiot like me thru it like I am a 12 year old? I could really use the help and thanks.
