Based on a DS game.Drawn to Life?…If so, your "based-ness" is pretty accurate in concerns to the style.However, for the purposes of creating your own game, or even just your own GFX, I would reconsider. It worked for the people who made the game, and then made money off of doing graphics like that. For your sake, I'd improve my own skills rather than attempting to recreate someone else's.It would be almost as if you were attempting to draw a Picasso (abstract-esque) without first knowing how to paint realistically.On that note, I quite like the sprite. Its pretty "cute." I would say if you decide to continue working with it, take some time to study some old Pokemon sprites for inspiration.
