Attack on Sight not working for me (Skywyre V8)

So, I don't know if it's perhaps something that I'm doing wrong, but I've got sprites set to attack on sight, but they don't. I've tried raising their level so it's higher than man, as well as setting their stats to max. I played with the range slider to underneath the attack on sight option. I've also removed my self as server admin to see if that was the problem but I got no results. Is this maybe a bug? I read through some of the forums and it seems that people haven't had a problem with it in older versions so maybe it's just me? If anyone can offer any help it's much appreciated!

Mobs do not attack Admins on sight, only when attacked. They should attack everyone else.
I do believe it was set up that way, so that you could be mapping (or editing data) and not get swarmed by monsters and die.

I can't see your reply but I got the first line of it in the PM and if that's the case than I will just have to wait and see what happens. As far as what you believe, I didn't get a chance to make it that far. Thanks!

Not sure if you said you already tried, but did you try an account that wasn't an admin?

You just need a new account for testing that is not an admin (as Mohenjo Daro suggested)

If this doesn't work, get v9 (what I use)… it functions fine
