Alerd
use version 2.3 or better to stay at 2.0?
Joyce
If you want to use it you're free to do so. It works just fine, but it does not have all the new features and systems some of the more recent versions have.
Alerd
thanks for the reply but I was concerned about is that some people have said that 2.3 is very much bugged, and here the question is whether to work or go to 2.3 to 2.
Joyce
It doesn't have all that many bugs compared to say 3.0 really. For every bug that was fixed, a new feature added another. So in the end it's just as broken as anything else here. ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png) The only I can say is that 2.3 is missing a few bugfixes that 3.0 does include. Joyce
1) I'm not sure, the way Snider wrote the system is just not compatible with compiling it in this manner I'm afraid.2) I do believe that running the server and client on the same PC on older hardware can cause a few issues here and there. Although this really shouldn't happen. How long does this latency last for?
Alerd
This problem is only on 2.3 version 2.0 - 3.0 does not have the problem your computer is not weak because intel i7 16 gb ram, Xlike I said after I ping the server 600 may take a few seconds, everything goes back to normal, X
abhi2011
About the ping, it happens in 2.0\. Well atleast for me it happened. I suppose it is because the client might make a mistake getting the ping and drawing it.
Alerd
in 2.0 does not have this problem and is already 2.
