Rathalos888
Man, I have alot of questions today. This one is dealing with a mailbox script I found in the script database.I put the script where it should be, and I want it to run when a player steps in front of a mailbox. So, I loaded eclipse up, and went to map editor. I used script as an attribute, and before I put it where I wanted, I noticed that I got a number.I know where the script numbers are placed in Main.txt, but I don't know how to make the number have my script in it =P.Sorry for bugging ya'll with all my recent questions. Thanks in advance! Oizumi03
There's a forum for scripting questions, this belongs there.
Rathalos888
Dangit >_<. I always thought tha was just for questions about learning how to script. If a mod could move this that would be great >_<. Or lock it.
Oizumi03
Don't worry, someone will probably answer it sooner or later.Just don't bump (make another post on this thread) to move it back to the top.P.S. You CAN do that, just make sure you delete the post after you do.
balliztik1
Well, when you're placing a script under the scripted tile sub, you put it inside a Case. For instance, "Case 2". In that case (mind the pun), you'd use script 2 as the tile's script number to activate that script. Same goes for NPCs, items, and spells. Rathalos888
Yeah, I managed to do that today with another script (YAI ME ^_^), but with my script I was trying to use, It said "to call it use this:Then there was a very short little line of text. Is that what I'd put in the case?
balliztik1
Depends on the script. Sounds about right though.
