Custom Buttons with Custom GUI

ok after alot of criticism i was told to show buttons with GUI, so, i went for a while and created a GUI and used one of my buttons to create this

Just as I thought, you didn't manage to make a GUI that fit in with the button style.

The layout really reminds me of my GUI as well >_>

I think the placement of the buttons should be worked on. Do something similar to I did. Having the buttons in a box doesn't look good, especially when they're not aligned and take up so much vertical space.

Your GUI style is pretty piss-poor. Go work with some textures and layer styles, not shitty little images that make the outline of your GUI impossible to see properly.

Generally it needs a lot of work, and you need to ditch that button style altogether.

if your not going to say something to help and just piss me off dont reply.

so robin. u suggest brighter colours and more simple buttons and better textuers? i dont really want to copy your GUI style, not saying it looks bad but i would prefer to design my own.
if thats what ur saying tell me now so i can work on it

Pretty much. The fact is though, you have no textures. It's just an image with a few lines drawn over it.

I'm not saying to copy my GUI style, I'm just saying it's got the basics down pretty well. Don't use one image between panels. Use different textures so it's easy to see which is a border and which is a frame, work on your layout some more, as the buttons look terrible there, and lighten it up, as I can't differentiate the lines from the background.

i dont mean to say ur tutorial is shit, or your gui is shit, i really think its magnififcent, but i you understand where i come from, i prefer to do things myself, but thank you and i will work on more textures, please, would u have any ideas on textures that you will are good?
