What would be Easier to program
and what would be more memory efficient
[EDIT] I Forgot Multiply the amount of stuff by 2 because of male and female [End Edit]

1.
making 100 hairstyles and colors paperdoll items and draw them under helmet.
Keep in mind that there are also the following paperdoll spots. Helmet Armour Weapon and Off Hand

2.
Making 100 Sprites with different hairstyles and colors
In the sheet with all other NPCS

3.
Making a whole differnt folder for The player Hair
so it would be
Hairstyle 1
Colors 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
Hairstyle 2
Colors 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
Hairstyle 3
Colors 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
Hairstyle 4
Colors 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
Hairstyle 5
Colors 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
Hairstyle 6
Colors 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
Hairstyle 7
Colors 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
Hairstyle 8
Colors 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
Hairstyle 9

with each Hairstyle being in its own folder

Either way you do it. is honestly going to suck to implement.  To paperdoll, thaqt will take up a ton of item spots.

To do sprites, will suck adding them all in.

Hair is something that you dont have alot of room to work with, without using some time/resource consimung method, unless you can do it in the source
