Lamagod
I've never heard of this done.Someone else may have, but It sounds fairly complicated. If the website server was located on your computer, maybe.Anyway, to my knowledge, this is impossible in sadscript. Devogen
TBH even the big MMO companies screw this up… sometimes it does link correctly, or there is a big delay in the web info updating your game account info. Funcom is a prime example.I wanted to do a similar thing and am working on a method using PHP3 script that sends a raw text file to the servers IP address, the only issue i have is getting the server to read the right part of that text file.. but its not hard just tiome consuming., will let you know how i go. gizmo1
@Lamagod:> Not "Anything". You can do a lot of things, but some things are just impossible.well yeah, look at C++, you can build your own operating system with it, like Ubanto linux and unix. but yeah a lot of those programming languages have bugs in them thier selves when they string dumped everything and attached compilers. Guest
Lol, I am coding a online FPS in C++ and we link web registrations via MySQL data bases. This is NOT impossible, and is already integrated into a mirage based build. Check out the mirage site and mess around with MySQL and VB. Then just add an extra query to be executed on your site registration script.I am looking into this for myself also.
gizmo1
i also saw Mirage source got a C++ server and VB6 client to work and connect ^^.
