Khrymson Storyline…

_**Unfortunately I've been busy with other things, but finally got around to finishing the basic storyline for which I'm designing my game!  Keep in mind that the "…...." are there on purpose and to be revealed at another time!  The lists don't seem to line up copying from Word and I don't feel like making them since nothing is there atm.

Keep in mind though that some of this may be hard to understand because very little is fully explained, as I've yet to reveal more details.  In time it will all come together but I'm waiting for more progress on my designs and development to reveal all.  Click on my signature for a link to the game forums!

Please lemme know what you think!?**_

**KHRYMSON STORYLINE**
Eons ago an entity with no discernable mass or shape materialized, and to the inhabitants of this particularly huge planet it resembled in its purest form a gel like substance.  Residing deep within the confines of the Underground and unbeknownst to the Overworld; it thrived among others of its kind, adapting to its surroundings and eventually developing the ability to merge itself with the earth and rock.  As these entities grew and expanded; their adaptations began to show the development of their own unique physical and mental properties.  Of them; one entity in particular burst with an unimaginable power and profound intellect, turning everything it merged with a bright-reddish hue, much more vibrant and alive than anything yet experienced.

Rising above the others it discerned dominance among them all with a force of will and proclaimed that they collectively be known as the Syrn. It gave itself the name Khrymson.

At the exponential rate that Khrymson was merging and expanding its realm and influence, the immediate confines of the other Syrn began to shrink, forcing them to seek out and explore new areas of the expansive undergrounds.  Many new, massive caverns were populated, more earth and rock to merge with than conceivable, and with astonishing luck the Syrn discovered the expanses of the Overworld.

Unfortunately, for those Syrn venturing into this new realm, their discovery was over in a flash, without cause or reason; they were simply….gone.

At great cost of precious life, the Syrn learned that the Overworld was uninhabitable.  The bright, heated light that baked the earth and rock was deadly to their kind and they retreated back to the cavern openings and cool, dark comfort and familiarity of the Underworld.  To prevent future catastrophe, Khrymson declared that the Overworld be sealed off to further exploration.

Ages passed, and as the Syrn merged with everything they could, each began to fully develop a unique property as Khrymson had so long ago.  Unrest erupted among them as they fought over the earth and rock that each had claimed as their own, yearning for more.  Khrymson keenly watched in admiration as the other Syrn learned to exude their powers against their fellow brethren, and as Khrymson observed it noted that each had a discernable weakness.  On the fear of an eventual extinction as the Syrn exploited these weaknesses,  and with provocation; Khrymson put an end to the slaughtering which would later become known as the Age of Strife; immediately.

Once the other Syrn were settled Khrymson thus divided them into two factions based on their most inherent appearances.  Of the fourteen other Syrn, the brighter among them became known as the …...., and the remaining, much darker seven were named the ......., and to further distinguish the Syrn they are each given their own monikers:

…....        .......

.......            .......
.......        .......
.......        .......
.......        .......
.......        .......
.......              .......
.......        .......

Khrymson then decreed that the Syrn were to be separated into pairs of ….... and ....... by great distances across the known Underworld.  This proposal caused an unruly commotion and great confusion among the Syrn as it was well known through the teachings that the Overworld was impossible to traverse.  In a stunning revelation, Khrymson finally let the other Syrn know a secret held close through recent history,

“The bright, heated light that was responsible for our ancestor’s deaths alternates and there is a dark period for which it’s safe to traverse the Overworld.  It’s still very dangerous but I’ve since adapted slightly to that of the conditions and have been exploring and merging with other Underground lands.”

With this new knowledge, the Seeding became so, and the Syrn were transplanted across the various regions that Khrymson had discovered.  Khrymson was satisfied that peace reigned and receded back to its explorations while the Syrn populated the new regions of the Underworld.

                  **Meanwhile…**

As the Age of Strife raged amongst the Syrn, Khrymson watched with a veiled interest as new life had begun to surface in the various climates across the surface of the Overworld.  These new life forms were naive at first but very quickly adapted to their surroundings and strived to evolve.  For eons the Underworld of this planet have been populated with the Syrn, overseen by Khrymson and as such, aptly called these beings the Knu, and gave this collective individual monikers as well:

                    Knu

                                                        …....
                    .......
                                                        .......
                    .......
                    .......
                    .......
                    .......

The Knu continued to prosper and evolved into upright figures with many flexible appendages, and deftly learned to clear the lands of the Overworld for harvesting.  The Knu grew in numbers and expanded their Overworld territories, and being curious by nature, began to explore the caves littered throughout the world.  Their explorations were tentative as their poor vision in even the smallest of these dark recesses prevented them from investigating further.  Keeping the other Syrn oblivious of the Knu; Khrymson watched, waited and stayed hidden to see what developed.

As the Knu began to build huge structures from the trees and pave the grounds with rock, they also advanced in knowledge and discovery.  Again the Knu decided to delve into the dark Underworlds of the Syrn with this flickering, bright heat they held aloft.  Inadvertently the Knu discovered Khrymson among many of the caves scattered around the world and it was the first to learn how deadly and destructive they were!  The Knu became bolder and as they explored deeper into their Sacred Underworld more of the Syrn were discovered.

Khrymson decided it was time to let the other Syrn know everything it knew about the Knu and thus decreed they be avoided at all costs.

Once again the ages passed, the Knu and Syrn have been locked in a struggle for dominance over the planet.  The Knu have developed into a thriving society, masters of the Overworld, and the Syrn have evolved into all a manner of inconsiderably passive creatures to great hulking beasts to stem the onslaught in this struggle for power and the will to survive.  Khrymson has yet a dreadful secret to reveal that the other Syrn don’t know…

…and the Knu have discovered a breakthrough in technology by way of manipulating the raw quintessence of the Syrn into many of things!

It is definitely interesting. I know you said that it is not complete and some things may still seem vague, but some clarification on the first paragraph could really help with overall clarity in the rest of the story. I really didn't have much of a grasp on what the syrn are. What exactly is the "merging"? How do they react to the merging? What do they get out of it?

Thats one of the many not yet explained parts.  Still working on writing it all down in a legible format for others to understand but I've got it mostly explained in detail in my head atm.  I'm not ready to reveal it all yet until I get more of the graphics completed.  I'm working on what the Syrn look like in their gel-like form and someday once I get that done I may reveal more about their physical and mental properties as well as what benefits them on merging with the earth and rock!

What I'm designing is definitely something unique and never done before that I'm aware of and I think many will like it alot!

Very creative, and your vocabulary is rather impressive.

I would assume that younger people may have trouble understanding the plot, but if the plot is well implemented into the games quests and story, I'm sure it will make a lot more sense, and be less vague in some areas. (which I understand you have purposely left out).

I'm interested in how your project will turn out. Best of luck.
