Hi guys, this going to be my first real serious post on this forums. Man, Im awkward when it come to writing things with English, so please excuse me if I lack "professionality" or "formal introduction" or whatever suppose to be the opening stuffs xD

Anyway, here it goes!

**Project: Yumi's RPG Maker**

**Description:**

>! - Basically, a "I-wanna-be" RPG Maker Clone. Created by me to challenge myself and of course, to put on my resume/application for future college/job.

**Features** (As of updated 8/6/13):

>! - a working map editor, with animation layer like Eclipse (appear disappear appear disappear).
>! - If you have multiple animation layer, they will animated one by one according to their order
>! - Dynamic Layer! Add all the layers that you want! or of course, if you somehow "yolo-ed" too hard, REMOVE YOUR DARN LAYER  
>! - Grid drawing to help you see better

- A Game runner! When you create a game you will be able to run it (i mean that is the whole point… right?) If you only have a map, then the map will be shown, if you have an actor, then you can scroll around. IF your actor have sprite, then your actor with the sprite will be shown on the screen

- Actor like RPG Maker

- Dynamic map. Resize, do whatever u want with it, add remove etc.

- Foundation for Event system setted up, but although atm the only event available is warp and condition branches

SO, let's get to the second project!

**Project: My Little Kingdom: The Story of Jack**

**Description:**

>! Welp, this is going to be the RPG I'm making.  

**Storyline:**

Long before any being walked on the earth, the Goddess Elona grew lonely. Things were exciting when a single thought could create wonders beyond imagination, but with no one to share it with, it grew tiring. With this in mind, Elona created a world in which she could watch over the peoples and guide their steps. 

So the Goddess created Man, and the Elves, and the Dwarves. She created animals and monsters alike, but evil did not exist in their minds and so they were not regarded as monsters. She created the oceans and the mountains, and the peoples wondered in her power.

However, the Goddess was weary and needed rest. So the Goddess created a clone of herself to watch over her peoples in her absence. When the clone was set loose, it quickly became apparent that she was flawed, perhaps too perfect, for when she realized she held the exact power that Elona had, she was quickly corrupted. She began to experiment on the free peoples, in turn corrupting them as well. Wars ravaged the surface of the once perfect world.

When Elona awoke to see this, she burned with a primal rage. She left the world, but before doing so, flooded it. Perhaps she did this to save some of her creations, perhaps it was pity, or possibly it was a mistake.

Elonas clone, bored and looking for something to do, fled the world as well, only making herself known to her most faithful servants, blessing them with dark magics.

Thousands of years after the Goddess Elona left, wars had made the rivers run red with blood. Wiser peoples had tried to stop it, and in the end, after failing to eliminate evil, peace was made out of a wearyness of war. Boundaries were established and kingdoms created. The Kingdom of "Name 1" ( you change the names if you want too Yumi   ) the Kingdom of "Name 2", and the Resistance. The old hatred that fed the wars still existed, but was subdued by the peoples wish to save more lives.

Peace lasted for two hundred years until…

The world went to hell.

Natural disasters roared through the world, from volcanic eruptions to tornados and tsunamis. Lives ran down to death like the sand in an hourglass. 

Believing this as the work of the Goddess' clone, the people set out to the location assumed by many to be the hiding place of the clone. They departed with visions of glory and power...

// Actual Story:

Jack awoke.

Jack has washed up on an unknown island. Painstakingly slowly, he regains his strength and heads inland. Soon into the venture, he stumbles upon a hatching dragon egg. He immediately bonds with the dragon hatchling and the two become fast friends.

Days later, he finds a small village located in the center of the Island. Seeking someone who would know anything about the dragon, he comes across a professor. He quickly, if not foolishly, places all his trust in the professor and reveals the dragon to him, asking for any knowledge he may possess about the creature. 

Jack quickly finds himself in the middle of a dangerous situation. The professor pulls him aside when the soldiers come by. They ask if any of them have seen a small creature that is reportedly newly hatched. The professor denies it, saying that he hasn't seen or heard of it. The professor takes Jack into hiding and quickly teaches him how to be safe with his newfound companion. A ship is arranged to ferry Jack to the Resistance. It is revealed later in the story to Jack that the professor was once a dragon rider himself.

After months of training, Jack attempts to defeat the clone of the Goddess. Upon reaching her lair, he quickly realizes that the clone is much to powerful for any mortal to defeat. Using his cunning, he tricks her into destroying herself.

// Yumi's comment: The story should be more around the war instead of Jack individually. Because in the original story i wrote (with horrible grammar) i stated that all 3 kingdom set out to destroy the goddess. Jack will be part of the Resistance (which is a force of human, elves and dwarf combined) to kill the Clone's army

The clone of the Goddess destroyed, things were expected to get better. However, they did not…

Jack soon realized that the Goddess was responsable for the 'recent' chaos. Confronting the Goddess herself, Jack pleads for peace in the world.

The Goddess, feeling betrayed by her once perfect peoples, gives him a choice. To save the peoples of the world, he would have to slay his friend and other half, the dragon.

Jack, wallowing in misery at the terrible choice, kills himself. 

The Goddess, moved by his actions, is reminded that there is still hope for her peoples. Seeing this, she revives Jack, and stops the terrible disasters.

Welp, that's all for the storyline  

Right now I really dont have much to show about the game since im not even into it yet, im just making the engine at the moment so dont expect much. Although I do have some concept art:

**Tileset:**

ALright before I even post the link here, I do remember that back in the day on Eclipse, I was reported for plagiarizing Andy's tileset in his "Little" (the game's name, i dont remember the actual name, but I think it have to do with Little). I did get the inspiration from when I draw the grass (the color) and the water (the bubble effect thingy). I HAVE, however, removed part of it (not all yet, because im lazy).  The only part left that i still havent removed yet he on the water (at the top), you can still see the bubble, in which is obviously, not my idea.
