How to open port 4000

to use eclipse, do i have to open port 4000? if so, how do i do it? (i checked, and mine is currently in stealth o.o)
when i run the client, it says im not connected even tho i changed the ports of config, in the client folder and data in the server folder to 4000

if something else is using port 4000, you can change the ports (be sure to change it on both though, data.inin and config)

It should open once you've done port forwarding

you can use any port besides 4000 that isn't used….Also, when you portforward, people can play your game on a different computer

All thishas no meaning if you cannot port forward

i typed in a bunch of random ports on shieldsUP port probe website thing

and they ALL seem to be stealth T.T

and i still don't know how to port forward

2\. There are many tutorials on this i can show you one if you want

Go to the tutorial section on this forum and search for a port forwarding tutorial (non hamachi)
