Converting to MIDI (.mid?)

Hi, another nooby question, to make my music file smaller, how would I convert my MP3s to MIDIs?
Also how would I download some of these? [Songs](http://themushroomkingdom.net/media/pmttyd/mid)

EDIT: Actually it might be.mid, not sure.

I don't think it IS possible to convert MP3 to Midi.
Just get a compressor.

It's impossible. MP3-files work with frequencies and MIDI-files work with music notes and instruments.

You can't, unless you want to lose notes or "quality" which is a BadIdeaâ„¢.
