Confused
Ok this is kind of weird and we can't seem to figure out the problem here.I did not port forward, instead using no-ip as a host. (not sure if this matters, i wouldnt think so)Anyway, my friend gets a connection status, but cannot make an account or login with an account I have already made. When he tries to create one a small box comes up saying "Connected. Creating Account!" but nothing ever happens after that. When he runs a server of his own he doesnt have this problem. Admiral Refuge
Using no-ip doesn't mean you don't have to port forward, you still do.no-ip just masks your IP address if you're using a dyntamic one; stuff like that.If you don't want to port forward, you'll have to use Hamachi (but I wouldn't recommend it).Port forwarding is as simple as logging into your router. Portforward.com even has a guide for Port Forwarding on Eclipse.
Rithy58
Actually, there is a way to use Hamachi and No-Ip and don't port-forward.http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=41299.0Sincerely,Rithy
Djordyn
U can try to port forward with Utorrent. It should work just open Utorrent -> options -> then the first thing ( sorry i got the dutch version …) -> connections -> then change the port to 4000 or 4001 then apply and ok. After u done that just go back and click on different port.
