Galactic Conquest

Galactic Conquest will be a massive online game set in space. It will (hopefully) have hundreds of planets and galaxies to visit.  I plan on making the worlds as big and have just as much detail as the space area so that people can have fun both in an out of space. A lot of the gameplay is planned to revolve around the industry and 'organisation' side aswell as just combat.

There is currently Oh no you didnt plot line to this, but one might be introduced if it seems necessary. The current setting for Galactic Conquest is in the year 2300, set just after the creation of intergalactic space travel.

**Features:**
> Heavily designed around 'organisations' and teamwork.
> Space and planetary travel.
> Massive areas to explore.
> Actual industry, not just grinding to make money.
> Various ships with different outsides and upgradeable weapons.
> On land sprites as well as ship sprites.
> Various alien NPCs.
> Player owned PLANETS.

**Current Tiles:**
All tiles are now being made by Sean, so far they are looking truly amazing. I will update this section with the tiles when some more are made.

**Work so far:**
Currently Sean has been working hard to create new spaceships and tiles for the game. Until we have much more we won't be adding much more to the game.

Although help from pretty much anybody will be appreciated I am mainly looking for people to make Sprites, Tilesets, Scripters and maybe even somebody who can use vb6\. I would also like a mapper and maybe even someone who can set up a website for me! (Meh, I wish.) Either PM me or post on this thread if you would like to help me out. Also if you have any previous work that is impressive I'd quite like to see that.

OK, we are now also looking for someone to come up with a site template that can be sliced and coded. I will be dong the coding.
We would like it to have a black and dark green theme with silvery borders (If that looks horrible what ever you can come up with for a space game will be fine.)

**PS:** I know the name is cheesy, if anybody has any suggestions feel free to tell me them. =).

I like the idea. Not exactly my type of mmo but it is definitely original.
