Run Button not working

I'm using Dragon Eclipse and I edited the source so that the player can move faster and run faster. But for some reason, the run button does not work.

I'm holding Shift. I hope that's the right button. :|

I believe that the default run is the regular press of the movement buttons (ex: Arrow keys, w,a,s,d etc.) holding shift will make you walk or "slows" the movement speed, because the regular movement is on run or "faster" mode. You would have to find the speed of regular movement to move faster because holding shift doesn't make you go faster, at least last time I checked.

This is my opinion, I can't guaranteed that I am correct, but I hope this answers your question.
