I'm using Dragon Eclipse and I edited the source so that the player can move faster and run faster. But for some reason, the run button does not work. I'm holding Shift. I hope that's the right button. :|

Hi everyone, I need help with 2 things. First off, I have VB6, but the issue is this: 1) I have Dragon Eclipse and I want to make the character run when I hold Shift. What file do I edit to do that and what line? 2) Is there any way to make a bridge? I want so people can walk under it and walk on top of it too. 3) Could someone lead me to a Buff spell system on this forum? I need one. Thank you in advance. :)

I need help. I'm trying to run Dragon Eclipse and the original Eclipse Origins 2.0, but I get this error: Runtime error 429 ActiveX component cannot create object

Oh ok…But here's my main problem. Whenever I load the server, I see a different IP than my external IP. And whenever I connect to **_that_** IP, it works for _**me**_. But when my friends try to, they can't.

What about blocking ping? What does that do?

Is something here perhaps the reason why others cannot connect to my server?

I don't get this. How come in the tutorial village and stuff that was there when I made my own server, how come the HUMAN NPCs don't show up on the NPC list. And…They talk? What's that? Sorry if I ask too many questions. It's just that I'm used to Eclipse 2.0 and 3.0 and want to learn more about 4.0 and explore the engine.

How do I make it so that when I distribute my game, players may only see the title screen with the Login, Sign Up, Credits and Exit? Also, if I am able to do that, how do I update their client or send them updates from the game?

How do I port forward? I've tried it using to different routers, but no results. Only I can connect to whatever server I'm at but no one else can connect to it. I put in the IP adress and everything. I can connect to it, but no one else can.

This may be the stupidest question asked, but…What are the controls? :/

Sorry if I bother people by asking so many questions, but how exactly am I able to distribute my game? I used the installer and I want to be able to have other people play my game. How do I do that? Do I just give them the .exe or maybe download the .zip version of 4.0 and just give them the eoclient.exe instead of the Client Launcher. I don't know what to really do since I'm used to the older versions. Please help! :(

I was wondering…Is it possible in Eclipse 4.0 to take out the character creation feature? I want my game to only be able to choose from some pre-set characters. Please help. :(
