Any Script checkers or other useful programms for a newbie scripter?

I would like to know, if anyone knows  a programm, which can make an easier life for a Sadscripter? If you know, then write which one and what does it do, if you can, please  put a link for download, thanks!  ;)

notepad++ is also good… (google it) you can define the "language" that it highlights and all that yourself.

Or Programmer's Notepad. Used that a bit and it's pretty good for multiple languages.

UltraEdit made a lasting impression with me, but I only had a 45 day trial. You have to buy it, but it has a ton of neat features.
